Jonah's wish trip *pictures added*

HeatherSuem,
Thank you, we are so looking forward to going. Jonah will be all nice and healed by then too. Thank goodness it'll only take about 30min to do and he'll only need a couple of stitches, but he was just getting back in his groove.

I'm glad it won't be a big procedure, but it's too bad he has to have it done.

I don't know if y'all remember a little while when jonah started school there were some safety issues with some other students in his class. Well, today we had another meeting and the issue has been resolved and jonah isn't having to deal with these students the rest of the year :cool1: it was as simple as some tweaks to everyone's schedule. This new schedule will start next week. I am so glad that this "fight" with the school is over.

That's awesome that you guys are getting to go. WOOHOO a neighbor LOL. We live in GA. That means that we're apart of the same MAW. :thumbsup2 This is as far as I've gotten with your trip report so far. :) I have to leave to take my oldest son to school, but as soon as I get back I will read more and comment more.

Jill (jillalvarez2003), Thank you for the shirt and luggage tags. I'll get a picture of him in the shirt when my dh gets home, he has the camera, but i just wanted to say thank you.
It was his first package of the BIG GIVE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I also wanted to tell y'all that he got in his stander at school (first time this year) and he did it for 30 minutes without fussing    Then at therapy he stood (with support) on the horse's back and rode for 2 laps :cool1: :cool1: :cool1: I talked to his pt at school and we're going to be able to bring the stander home on weekends and over holiday breaks. She also has a gait trainer that was donated by another family that she is going to let jonah use until we can get his own. Today has been full of surprises and happiness.

On to some more planning things, I've started looking at CS restaurants are there any suggestions? I need ideas for Epcot, Hollywood Studios, Animal Kingdom, and Universal/IOA.

I'll get plenty of pictures up tonight or tomorrow ( i still need to get a picture of his postcard, i'm getting forgetful here lately)

Sounds like Jonah is doing great!

For Univeral at IOA we LOVE the circus mcgurkus place in suess landing. They usually have a roast beast special around christmas time and it is delicious. We have also eaten there other times when they didn't have the special and enjoyed it.

Epcot, inside where soarin is is a huge counter service place with lots of yummy choices. I love the half a chicken. The mexican in mexico (CS) is also delicious! And my family loves the fish and chips in England. I don't eat fish. I usually get a turkey sandwich from the french bakery when they eat there.

AK we like flame tree bbq. Everything is good there.

DHS is the place I just cannot find anything I like really for counter service besides Pizza Planet. The pizza is actually good and of course Dallas loves the atmosphere. I like the idea of it and thought it was really cute too!

Can you tell we LOVE to eat!

a few hours of pre-k can do a guy in, i had to show this, this was after we got home for pre-k (he's going 3 hours right now) he got in his stander and then outside in the swing, came home and fell asleep.

Jessica,
thank you for the list of resturants. I'm putting them in notes.

That picture is so sweet. Dallas will get home from K and he is exhausted! I find him asleep all the time and they nap at school and he goes to bed by 7:30!

I wish I could take a nap like that! He looks absolutely exhausted but very content.

We also like the CS in the Land building at Epcot. We figured that it would run about $14 per adult meal at the CS restaurants when we went. We were really lucky because those of us who were staying at OKW had free Disney Dining Plan meals for TS and CS meals. We generally paid for the kids meals at around $5 each and then used the 30 meals of each type for the adults. It was wonderful for us. Because I am very allergic to tomatoes and all tomato products, my wonderful family tries to stay away from Mexican and Italian food so I don't feel left out. That dang allergy eliminates a lot of really wonderful foods...BBQ, Pizza, Enchiladas, a lot of premade sandwiches and salads, chili. Oh well, giving it up is better than the horrible hives I would get if I tried to cheat!

I didn't realize a shirt could make him look even more squeezable than he already did!

 for you both!

He looks so cute in his shirt!

My daughter was home with a cold today so she helped me work on an outfit for Jonah. She wanted to see his trip report when we were done and she is in love! She thinks he is just so cute and can't wait to see him in what we made.

She loved the picture of him sleeping after pre-k. We can definitely relate!

That is a great shirt and he looks so handsome in it! They must really tire him out at pre-k! LOL!

They do wear him out in pre-k lol

We are leaving today so we can get ready for his surgery friday. We're going to my parent's house after he gets out of school and then going to birmingham tomorrow and get settled in so we can be a little rested for friday. I should be back monday or tuesday. So please just keep him in your thoughts, i don't have a time for surgery yet but hopefully will get that today or tomorrow.

becca

You will all be in my prayers. Let us know how things go. I love the shirt. However, I am really, really not ready yet for Christmas things. I still have to get out my fall and halloween decorations for the house.

Have a safe trip!
