I heard on the radio this morning that the show is being cancelled because he's filed for divorce. He said she treats him just like one of the kids. No personality issues with that woman.

OH I pray it is just a rumor... how horrible for those kids...especially since they just made a big hoopla with the 2nd wedding what was it they said something like so the kids knew they would always be together.

I hope they try to hold it together for the kids. Maybe if they dump the camera's and work on their relationship in a "normal" environment it will help.

I heard something about this on Access Hollywood last night but they said that in the People magazine they said that they are fine. Hope so...they are a great couple!

I don't think they are a great couple. She does treat him like a child. She nags constantly, and he just get passive aggressive about it. To me they are pretty disfunctional. She is also becoming increasingly rude and just downright ugly even to the kids. I cannot stand the way she talks to them sometimes!

I wouldn't put too much stock into this rumor. I looked it up, and the reports are coming from rags like Star and In Touch. Really can't believe everything you read in these things! There are pictures but the ones I saw just look like Jon was posing for a fan photo to me.

I agree with this statement. Life is stressful enough with a normal sized family in a normal home environment. They have 8 kids and constant fame following them around. IF they have played their cards right, they should have earned enough of a cushion to go ditch their 15 minutes and create a nurturing environment for their family and marriage.

Jon&Kate threads always get heated...you either Love them or hate her . But all opinions aside about his and her personalities...it truly saddens me to think of them divorcing..those kids will always be in the spotlight, and to add a public divorce to their already over-publicized lives...really sad. I too believe they need to shut off the cameras for good and start refocusing on rebuilding their private family life.

If it's true, what took him sooooo long. I know there are kids involved but I could not put up with her. And I think if it is true, she would never be able to dump the cameras and life style in front of them. She seems to LOVE being in front of the camera and is a drama queen.

These rumors have been all over the Internet for a while now. I am mo longer a fan of the show, but hope they will be able to work it out if there are problems with their marriage. As a PP stated... The wedding episode Kate stated to the kids that their vow renewal represented that they will always be together. So sad if it's true. Those kids are going to need some serious therapy later if not sooner!

I do not watch the show anymore, it just lost its appeal for me.

I think a lot of people criticize them for doing the show, but I think economically it was the best move they could make for their family. The big house, several trips a year with 10 people and helpers...all these kids will go to college thanks to the TV show.

I think they'll get divorced once the kids are out of the house...because Kate is a total monster to me (I lost my mom understanding of her when I saw her freak out when her 3 year olds got messy with ice cream at WDW in AUGUST!!!...come ON!)

wow. I understand that everyone has their opinions on Jon and Kate but to criticize an innocent child? That's pretty heartless especially since you don't know what's going on behind closed doors. She MAY have a MEDICAL REASON she acts the way she does. Or perhaps the stress of having 7 brothers and sisters gets to be a bit much sometimes. Every kid processes things different some better than others.
Plus, as parents you can do everything by the book and discipline as much as you can and sometimes it just comes down to the temperment of your kids. There are the easy going ones and then the more head-strong difficult ones. You do the best you can.

The children are innocent-have a heart and leave them out of the debate.

Pffff... never trust radio talk shows. They're the ones that start the rumors - "Morning Mashup" on XM 20 on 20 was debating about whether or not Kelly Clarkson was a lesbian because she didn't want to have kids.

I like everything about Jon and Kate... except how Kate treats Jon. I wish she would use a nicer tone and treat him like he's an adult. But I think there is romance there.... they joke about those incidents later. I see how the show (and the circumstance of having 8 kids) could tell them apart, but I really don't think it will. They just moved into a new house... he'd be crazy to leave now (of course, that's what we all said about my best friend's mother before she hit a midlife crisis and filed for divorce).

I watched the last few episodes and it seems that there is something going on between them. The couch interviews are very telling - the body language of Jon is very hostile. In think he has finally had enough of her! I saw the photo and it just looked like a fan op but he was very drunk looking. I know I would be pissed if my husband was getting drunk BY HIMSELF in a bar full of college girls asking for his photo/autograph and going to COLLEGE parties. It just doesn't vibe right. I have noticed an increasing distance between them and tension since Kate finished her book and started doing more publicity/travelling. I think she needs to stay home more probably before he gets too resentful. I think the show will be cancelled soon no matter what - the kids are getting too old and the show is more about her than the kids nowadays. The new house seems like a perfect parting gift from the producers!

She does some outside things, has help but as you can see, she does not pass all her responsibility to someone else. I think Kate may have OCD and has to have everything in a certain way, so she tends to overreact. It doesn't MATTER if Kate is freaking out, Jon should not leave the family until they do whatever they can.

The two most recent episodes feature little of Kate. She is "on a business trip in LA agian" as said by one of the older twins. Mom leaves the house a lot more than one would think! Kate may very well be OCD, but that is no excuse for how she talks to her husband and children.

As a stay at home Mom I know when the stress gets to much I catch myself taking it out on dh. Not at all proud of it but you know it happens. I can not imagine having 8 kids, 2 dogs and a TV crew to deal with. Maybe Kate is a bit over the top but her personality could not have changed much since all the kids were born. Point being Jon should not have waited until the had 8 kids to decide he did not want to be married. If this rumor is true they owe it to those kids to do everything possible to save their marriage dump the TV crew, counciling whatever it takes.
