Jon and Kate Plus 8. Official Thread!!

I finally read the blog and Kate may be high-strung, and people may disagree with her parenting and relationship with Jon, but that blogs just wrong. It's one of those "who needs enemies with friends like these" situations. I was a little taken-back by how Jodi was treated on some of the episodes but for her "sister" (if that's really who it is) to go online to air the family's dirty laundry in such a vindictive way is just childish and plain ol' mean. Apparently a lot more is going on behind the scenes that you'd guess on a simple cable reality show but there's no excuse to say some of the things that this woman did. Regardless of what's going on behind the scenes, running online to post a blog about the family drama is what a 14-year-old girl would do, not a grown woman with children. She claims that Jodi's hurt because she only wants the best for the kids, which I understand, but doesn't she realize the getting the family involved in a battle like this is only hurting the kids? I just found the blog to be incredibly childish, catty and trashy, and it says a lot more about the person who wrote it than about Jon and Kate.

Yep we talked about it many pages ago.
Of course Kate was called selfish for wanting to move so soon after adding on the twins bedroom. We even discused at lenght the size of that house and the amount of bedrooms and bathrooms it has.

Does anyone know what page that was on???

The pic with the sign is their "old" house (the 2nd one) but look at the pic of all of them together. That looks like a split foyer entrance and looks to be a very recent pic. I can't help but wonder if the pic was taken in the new house. As someone said earlier, I believe they were building the new house and I believe something has been said about it being closer to the church they attend.

The boys are wearing turtlenecks and sweaters, the rest are wearing long sleeves as well. I doubt this is a very recent picture.

I don't think its a recent picture either. Look at Cara's hair, its really long there. In the recent episodes her hair is almost the same length as Mady's. It looks like the house they rented in Utah for their ski trip.

It seems that they often record episodes to air on certain dates and "pretend" that the episode took place on that occasion. Could be they were dressed for an upcoming episode

I bet you are right, but the 6 look older in the pic too me. Twins however like you said, look like they did early in the season.

Yep I just watched that episode today and it looks like they are on the stairs up to the front door in the Utah house.

So according to the date on that pix then they must still be in that house b/c Kate's white minivan was in the driveway.

As with most things, there's a "right" way and a "wrong" way. I have no doubt that complete strangers have just walked up, rang the doorbell, and wanted to "chat". But the wording on that sign isn't the best thought out. I think people would be a little more understanding if the sign simply said "Please, no trespassing... we ask that you respect our privacy as a family. Thank you!"

As for the "Thou shalt not take photos of our house..." and trying to say you can't even stop your car in front of the house! Sorry, but anything readily viewable from a public street is "fair game". Don't like it? Then keep the drapes closed in front and go play in the backyard.

Maybe that is one of the pics they took from the "family photo shoot" episode? At Beth's house? I remember those shirts the little girls have on because I have seen them in the store - there was an episode that they all had them on but I can't remember what one.

I still would REALLY like to know where the info is that says they are living in a different house now. It's not that I don't believe it. It's just that they have not said a word about it on the show and episodes have been taped as recently as May.
