I hope not on the show. I would be surprised, unless it's the only way TLC will let him out of the contract if Jon was interested in therapy. I think he has moved on, at least mentally.

Wow I walk away from the board for half a day and you guys go crazy! 5 pages I think I can't really remember. Anyway, I saw a preview for tonight's show and at one point Kate says something like Once again I was put in the position were I had to bite my tongue and keep my mouth shut but then I couldn't because I was doing what was best for my kids. This was talking about were to put the crocked houses. Now my point is. Since when does Kate bite her tongue, keep her mouth shut. That just screams "their in therapy!" There might be hope for them yet.

I am interested in where Jon wanted to put the houses. Maybe down in the woods away from the house? I wonder who won this battle. I guess we'll see tonight. Jon will prob say, I worked for hours clearing the land, but Kate didn't like the place I picked out so we moved the spot to where she wanted them to go LOL.

In some previews it shows the crooked houses in the BACKYARD and yet in some previews it shows Jon clearing a spot in the WOODS for them (I believe).

since there is a show on June 29, reviewing Jon & Kate's first 10 years ... showing how they got where they are today ... my guess for tonight's show is the same as it's been all along: it's a whole lotta nothing. this is all a ratings ploy. Jon & Kate are separating, and TLC will edit/spin this in Kate's favor. The series will continue.

Here's what I think will ultimately play out:
- Jon is moving out, may or may not be in future shows. if he is in any shows, it will be footage already shot.

- Kate will try to further herself as a viable brand in the marketplace.

- Jon & Kate will try therapy ... on the show? who knows.

- by the end of the summer, things will be better. Jon and Kate will reunite and the series finale will be a trip to Korea.

- after Kate's book is released this fall, she will do a book tour.

- when that book tour is finished, they will divorce.

I remember hearing this too, but I just cannot believe they would or even could stretch this out another season together. Maybe there were intially plans for a Korea trip, but I can't see that happening now. Scott the owner of Enchanted bought the software program, it is different than mickeypath, so yes it is based on a 1 year segment, that is why Mickey is where he is at on the ticker .

I don't get that either. Jon wants out of the show, just wants his normal life...but then he continues to do stuff like this?

I would think TLC asked him to promote the show.

whoa - yeah they are over. It will be divorce is the announcement. He has "no idea " where she is on Father's day. That is not a couple who is trying to make a fresh start. Geez, they didn't even TRY to make it work. What jerks.

In all fairness how do we know "they didn't even try"? Kate said in the season opener issues had been going on for 6 months.

My only question is how does a mother with 8 young children have the time and engery for an extramarital affair? (if that is true)

Not saying she is having an affair, but she was off on the book tour, that would have given her time.

Things are moving fast again - it's so very hard to keep up these days!

I just checked TLC.com, to see what the description about tonight's show says .. they are re-running all of the episodes from season 5, including showing the birthday episode twice. I wonder if that was always on the schedule, or of they rearranged things to lead into tonight's big ratings scam.

There's like a mini-marathon from this season on today right starting at like 4 or 6 or something? I thought I saw that when I dvr'd tonight's show. I thought it was strange that they'd show the premire prior to tonight's show as well.

My *guess* would be that they travel seperately or have lots of helpers go with so they don't have to directly interact with each other. While Jon's out showing the kids things about their heritage, Kate and "helper" check out the local spas and malls. Then, Kate picks something fun to do while Jon hangs out with the "guys" at some local place....I would think they'd find a way to make it work if the accomidations and travel are all provided for.

Ouch. That's almost exactly what I thought has been happening. The "reality" show got a little too real, although still not reality. They sucked people in with their intimate details and beautiful babies, but when viewers got inside, many didn't like what was really there.

I'm not sure. In the Hawaii episode it seemed like a lot of his family lives in Hawaii.

I thought it was just a couple aunts and uncles that he didn't even know.?

I don't know if it was a big scam, but I think more of a last ditch effort. I've heard of lots of people that try to redo their vows, and within a few months the marriage is over. Usually it is one sided and the partner goes along with it, but were I'm from, people call it getting "unvowed".

You know I have thought this was real all along, the pain and hostility seem so genuine but after Jon's media stunt yesterday I just don't know. You might be 100% right, Madge.

I don't know, I don't believe everything Jodi's sister says. She started out defending her sister and so I think her views are pretty biased...which is fine, but she is really just speculating like the rest of us now. She doesn't know for a fact that the Hawaii vows were a sham, maybe they were trying, I also know a couple that did a vow re-newal and then ended up divorcing within a year.

I also don't believe that people are "trying" but can't get anywhere because of money. The State of Pennsylvania is leaving the kids in a dangerous situation because of tax revenue? Please. Not by any stretch of the imagination to I think the kids are in a good situation, but I don't believe there is anything there to warrant removing them from the home or it would have been done.

Wow, it sounds like even when Jodi was on the show, she was feeding stuff to her sister (her sister talks about the earlier shows). I assume she has just recently told her sister these things, if they haven't been posted before
.
I hope this is just a person who feels they need to stick up for her own sister, who has had a lot of negative publicity, for not coming about about how she felt about the show until Kate (supposedly) said no to paying them. I wonder why Jodi and Kevin continued to act like they were friends and wanted to continue being on the show (for pay, of course) if all these awful things happened in season 1 & 2? Why not come out and talk about them then?

Although all these kinds of postings do, IMO is breed more hate for Kate, it also makes me feel bad that someone would post stuff like that, when the concern from the sister in laws sister, is supposed to be the kids. Someday they'll read all that, and know that Aunt Jodi fed it to her sister and it will be even harder to heal the rift the kids will prob have with Jodi and Kevin.
