Yeah right, Jon doesn't want some married guy house in a nice neighborhood, he wants a bachelor pad near the clubs.

Legally speaking if he wants some type of custodial relationship he will have to have enough bedrooms for the children.

I'm going to bet that his custody is when Kate out traveling so he can keep the kids there.

I can't see Jon having the kids stay with him at a new place and that isn't to knock him, I think it would be way too disruptive for the kids and they will work out something where Jon will come to the house to stay with them during his vistation or whatever. Even if he got a place with 5 bedrooms, I can't imagine packing 8 kids up to stay with him every other weekend, at least not at this point.

That's so true Michelle, as JK have said - they didn't ever plan for that many. I hope your sister will have better luck with her treatments, it's such a difficult and emotional process to go through.

Thanks everyone...I am so excited for DD to be graduating and going to Austin to attend UT in the fall, but when I think about it too much I get teary!! She is an amazing child who had to move 3 times in high school, her freshman year, Junior year and Senior year. Yet there were tons of kids here yesterday at her party who seemed to adore her in the short time they have known her. She is graduating in the top ten percent of her class, and has worked her butt off for the grades, along with cheer, theater, salsa dancing and anything else she could get her hands on along the way!


I think my DD is done trying, she just turned 40 and has been trying on and off for over 6 or more years. My heart breaks for her because she would be an amazing mom and loves kids. I wish they would adopt, but I don't think they will, I think she has listened to my mom too much and her horror adoption stories...

I wasn't angry at you - nor the person who provided the link here.. I was angry with the person who wrote the article.. Obviously it's false, but just more garbage for Mady & Cara to be able to access soon - and the little ones when they're a bit older..

Weren't the girls mad, that they had to get off the computers?.

Hopefully the girls have very, very supervised access to those computers.. When DGD was only 6, she knew how to research info on her dad's computer for school projects..

Actually yes, We have seen Mady many times say that she does not want to be filmed and running from the camera.

I won't watch this woman show. I think she did have more kids just to get money and benefits. There have been several calls into child protection service on her on case of abuse.

How far is their old house from the new house? If they were seperating would it be possible for him to move back?

The old house is about an hour away from the new house.

Does anyone know if the twins changed schools since the move?

Why doesn't Jon just move back into the other house? I mean an apartment really? How are all those kids and a camera crew going to fit into an apartment. It seems they could not fit into a 3 story house that is around 4000 sq ft.

I think the reason the Gosselin's moved from the old house is because the fans were becoming so intrusive. Everybody knew where their house was and would drive up and down the street looking for it, taking pictures, etc. They had no privacy. It certainly would make sense for Jon to move in there. But now that the papparazzi is interested, Jon and the kids would really be living in a fish bowl. At least the new home offers some privacy.

I agree with WaltD4Me. They will probably revolve their visitation around the kids and the house. Sort of what they are doing now. Kate goes off to do a week or so of speaking engagements, Jon stays with the kids. Kate comes home for a week, Jon leaves.

I saw her last night and we discussed the situation a bit between J&K, she said that is exactly what Kate had been told do not have relations because the chances of mega multiples was so high.
I should say of course my niece had nothing to do with the case, this being her "field" the ethics of infertility issues are something she seems to be more aware of than I am.

According to Kate (and also what is written in the book), Kate had an insemination done in the doctor's office. (Jon supplied the semen and the doctor inseminated it into the uterus) Kate and the doctor knew that her ovaries were hyperstimulated but they saw 3 developed follicles and one other immature follicle. She and the doctor thought she might conceive either one baby, twins, triplets, or possibly (but unlikely) quads.

no, but Kate Gosselin is one of the most prominent moms of multiples out there. She was the go-to gal whenever they were looking for advice about Octmom. It isn't a stretch to suggest that Octomom is patterning her TV career after Kate.

I didn't read Kate's book. My niece and I had a very good discussion about her work, which is being a practicing attorney whose specialty is working with families who are adopting or using surrogates and also the use and fate of frozen embryos. She is the lawyer not me and is my niece so I have to admit I am biased and will believe what she told me she has no reason to lie she has nothing vested in this case.

how did you come to that conclusion?

as far as I know, that article from December is pretty much the only media out there regarding Beth.

We have no way to know what their relationship status is.
