That's true, but I saw the pics of Jon, so it's harder fo rme to think he's innocent, although he could be. And he is denying it. Pics of Kate with her bodyguard, have never made red lights go off in my head. Plus I've seen Jon chatting with him this past weekend. Would that make sense if he was having an affair with his wife? Doesn't mean she couldn't be having one with someone else in her spare time.

I'll have to see this contract that he told Jodi and Kevin about before I decide if that is true. They daid he came to them 6 months ago. They also said they hadn't seen Jon or Kate in a year, so Obviously, if a contract comes up, it changes a lot.

I just find it interesting, that his cheating doesn't seem to be talked about very much, like it wouldn't be hurtful to the family. Some seem to think that it is all Kate.

I will be watching on Monday, and who knows, I may have all different feelings by then about the show. I do think though, they are again darned if they do (spill it all out) and darn if they don't (keep it private).

I'm I missing something. Where do they say they haven't talked to J&k in a year?? I went back and watched their interviews and they never said that. (Yes I know your not the only one here saying that I just thought I would hijack your post )

As a mother to multiples (fair be it only twins) I have to say I take great offence at this comment HUGELY EASIER!!!!! In what world???? As with any child, once they get older parenting certainly becomes 'less hands on'. but by no means easy!...


Sorry for the long rant - but it really bugs me that people can make such sweeping generalisations that it is HUGELY EASIER bringing up multiples!!!

Everyone is different. My twins have been WAY easier than my single babies. They have always entertained each other, and were on roughly the same schedule. They are not in the same class, but share similar interests and hobbies.

As for 5 kids at 4 different ages; that's tough. I have had them in 3 different schools for a long time, 7 different sports teams in one season, 3 and 4 differerent church acitvities at once, etc. I know I will miss it one day.

All parents have tough jobs, it doesn't really matter the numbers. People ask me all the time "how we do it." We do it because we chose to and they're are kids. We have no extended family within 100 miles, and we just divide and conquer! I think that is part of the frustration with Kate that some mothers feel. How many times does she really have to remind us she has EIGHT kids?

I never, ever hear my neighbor who has seven kids under 10 say how tired she is and she doesn't hesitate to load them up and do what needs to be done. They are her kids. The woman provides childcare in her home part time to supplement her husband's income! Yes, as babies and toddlers I can imagine six at the same time keeps you physically busy. Gosh, those kids look so grown up lately. I wonder if Kate feels like she's wished time away thinking and talking about how tired she is? Does she still feel like every day she could very well lose her mind?

I thought it was one of the very end of the three parts. It might have been the star interview. It was something that came directly out of their mouths, but I can't remember which of the interviews they did, sorry. I did check to see if it was something they said, and it was, but that was a bit ago. It might have been on GWOP.

I'd have to go back and look at everything, and I would if no one else saw where they said that, but unless I have to (LOL) I don't want to watch any of that garbage again.

You are right, but the "rumor" was, and this was a long long time ago, that she did not have PCOS and the first doctor just took her word on it and then it came out that she did not, so he would not do it again that is why she had to go and find another doctor. From what I heard, she had to go to multiple doctors before any of them would do it.

Like I said, that was just what has been going around. This is not new I heard this years ago.

And just so you know, I have PCOS also, so please do not think I am being insensitive.

If you read Kate's book it explains about their infertility problems. There are tons of hateful people out there like at GWOP who would likely start rumors like you mention to discredit Kate. Don't believe everything you read. If you don't know them personally you don't know for sure.

What difference does it make "why" I think this isn't in the best interest of the children? I'm not sure why I need to explain that to you - or anyone else, for that matter.. We all have opinions here.. Varying thoughts on what is or isn't best for the children.. I can respect the fact that you - and others - may not agree with me.. I expect the same in return..

Just like the Gosselins, when you post your opinion in a public forum, you open yourself and your thoughts up to criticism and comments from anyone and everyone who reads it. If you don't want people to question your opinions, don't post them.

Everyone is different.

Wikipedia is not a reliable resource. Anybody can write anything in it and do you really think she would admit to faking PCOS? I watched an interview with her and she said that she always wanted to have twins. I have heard this rumor many many times. Like I said it is a rumor but look at who we are talking about.

Thanks for posting this info. as I've never heard this. That would be really interesting if it were true. I do remember reading that they had to change fertility doctors but I didn't know why. Kate does say on her website that she thought she would have trouble getting pregnant so she went to a doctor who ran tests and she had PCOS. Here's the quote...

I think people see what they want to see. That may mean me also. I'm trying to see the good, the brighter side of all this, for sure.

Sometimes when couples fight, they can barely look at each other.
I just saw Jon take a look at Kate,
and when I watched it a 2nd time, I saw kate's "look" that she gave Jon.
But with editing, the look could of been for something totally different.
But it was sad to see Kate give Jon the look of "dismissiveness".

And what I mean is that she is not trust worthy not matter what you think, and I am getting that from the things she has said. I don't trust anyone who would do this. And we really dont even know what they were talking about when they made those faces.

I saw it as a "we'll see"...or "I guess". Not really a mean look but who knows. I guess if anyone wants to know...watch Monday.

Either way, this clip was sad. Jon looked broken and Kate looked tired but determined. Maybe they can still work things out. But I agree Oh Mari, it is sad.

I would hate for the thread to get locked up because differences of opinions.
We all have opinions, suggestions, feelings and emotions, "over a reality show". To bad the show isn't scripted, but real life, and I think it brings out our passion about the show, good or bad. We just all need to remain civil to each other.

There was a marked difference in the two birthday parties Jon and Kate Gosselin threw for their sextuplets this year, a new report notices. On May 10, the children’s 5th birthday, the celebration was somber. L&S has the details, "Kate was spotted with an angry expression on her face while picking up a meager-looking cake at a bakery near the family’s Reading, Pa., home early in the day. Few people were spotted coming and going from the house, and at the end of the day, just a few bits of wrapping paper lay in the trash."

"A week later, however, the scene was different. With the cameras rolling for their TV series, Jon & Kate Plus 8, the entire family - as well as a large group of friends - drove to nearby Blue Falls park, were Kate went all out for a second birthday bash on May 17."

Are they only playing for the cameras? Is fights, cameras, Action, er cash? This time, she pulled out all the stops: There were pinatas, balloons, even a set of moon bounces for the kids to jump on. “Jon looked like he really didn’t want to have anything to do with the filming, but Kate was all about it,” an onlooker tells Life & Style. In fact, the day before, Kate, 34, was filmed taking the kids to Party City, where they eagerly stocked up on supplies for the celebration.

They seemed the picture of happiness - even though only weeks earlier, reports emerged accusing Jon, 32, of cheating on his wife. And just days before the party, Kate admitted things were so bad and she and Jon might split. But they hid the trouble when the cameras arrived to film for the fifth season of their TLC show, which premieres May 25.

Kevin Krieder, the 32-year-old brother of the reality TV mom, said that his sister has a selfish agenda focused more on boosting her career than her family. He said that the show's depiction of Kate as a do-it-all mother who cooks and cleans is "all for the cameras," and the reality TV couple's claim that they are raising their family all by themselves is a "snow job."

Jodi, who was also prominently featured in early episodes of the show, said it takes the work of many to take care of the children, and Kate is too busy to pitch in unless the red light is on.

"Kate is very good at designating jobs," her sister-in-law, Jodi Krieder said. "As the years have gone on, Kate has become the designator to the people that have those jobs going on."

The Krieders said they have not talked to the Gosselins in more than a year.

The fallout, according to Kevin, came over money. He said that members of the production crew told them that TLC was planning on compensating the Krieders, a fact which drove Kate ballistic and led to the family rift. They said that Kate is obsessive over control.

I recently came across someone comparing Kate Gosselin to Madonna -- i.e. both came from poor backgrounds, are very tough and determined to achieve fame & fortune, they aren't letting anyone stand in their way and they don't care who they have to trample over to do it.

Do you think this is a good analogy? I thought it had its merits.

Exactly. And as someone pointed out about my Wikipedia quote that it's not always reliable I'm pointing out that rumors aren't either. And posting that someone you never is not trustworthy is subjective but you were stating it as factual.

Does anyone know when the first episode for the new season was filmed? I guess they could edit stuff in if they wanted to at the last minute.

I saw the GMA segment on them this morning and the preview they showed to me was alot like the last show of last season. It seemed like they might make some announcement at the end of last season but then it didn't happen, it's all in the editing.

You're so right that it's all in the editing. The week before the season 4 finale in March, Emeril twittered that he had just taped the 100th episode of J&K+8 -- so ages ago they had different plans for the 1st episode of this new season and the rest of the schecule. They've changed the first episode - obviously, and just taped it last weekend with the tup's 5th birthday party plus the interviews with J&K and who knows what else they'll throw in.

IMO, they know what they already have on tape and will make their decisions for the next weeks shows depending on whether there is any bad press like what happened these past 2 weeks. And if things settle down, then go back to their scheduled plans. I 'think' they need to get the Smithsonian episode shown pretty soon since it opens THIS weekend. My guess is that episode was supposed to air this Mon, but they had to change plans - but that's just my guess.
