Jon and Kate Big Announcement?

I read that after next Mondays episode (which will be clips, not really a full episode) it won't be back until August 3rd.

That's not too long, I'd figure it'd be a lot longer. I don't really watch the show, my cousins are insane fans of it though.

huge name brands like walmart, juicy juice, and coke are all censored on their show. they don't really name drop. yes, they do select things, like the crooked houses, the bakery, and american choppers. but all of those things are sponsored by their network. if its not sponsored by the network, they cannot show the logo. its not really any different than any other show on TLC. american chopper and the little couple and little people big world can show the same brands that jon&kate+8 do.

Okay, we'll just have to agree to disagree because no matter what I say, you'll counteract it. We obviously view the show differently so we'll never agree.

the episode was SO sad last night. i just can't believe when Jon said that he was "excited" about what was upcoming....really...he's going to be seeing less of his children but excited?

That was sickening. I can see that he was truly unhappy in his marriage, but he was a doormat for cripe's sake! Then the whole "seeing new people at parties" thing came up, and ughhhh.



The one thing I don't understand is why they still chose to go through with the insemination before the sextuplets. They had the twins, and wanted another child. They had the opportunity to adopt a child, but ended up turning it down to go back to intrauterine insemination. They used IUI for the twins, and they ended up with multiples. Did they really think using IUI again wouldn't produce multiples again, as most infertility treatments do? I mean, I know they never expected 6 but part of me just wonders...

Why is he 'excited'? Maybe because he's so tired of being a doormat, and now gets to be free and live his life the way he wants. Maybe he feels buried under Kate's success. Maybe love isn't in the marriage anymore. But I highly doubt he was excited to see his kids less. He's more than a dad, he's a man, too.

Jon's just like everyone else. When he saw all the money the show has made, he wants to use it on himself and not be held down by his children. He needs to grow up!!!!

if you watch all the seasons, there is one definitive point when jon decides that he hates the limelight. before that, HE was the one telling KATE to be nice to fans and to take time to greet people. After that point, Jon begins saying he wishes he wasn't famous, he begins to retract away from it, where he used to bask in it.

i 100000% believe that the point when he stopped enjoying the limelight was because he was afraid that the paparazzi would catch him cheating. and oops! they did.

Yeah, i was talking to a friend today at work and she was telling me that there was tension between jon and the limelight, waaaaay back when, and finally it got to a point where he couldnt take it anymore, and the result is what their going thru now.

i 100000% believe that the point when he stopped enjoying the limelight was because he was afraid that the paparazzi would catch him cheating. and oops! they did.

I feel horrible for the children. I have a feeling someone is going to act out, as normally happens with children in broken marriages.
