Joke thread??????

I was talking to my parents and i remembered this thread i once read a while back about this guy who just got back from his trip and he thought it was horrible... I remember him repeating "....and the day was shot" over and over. I wanted to know if someone could tell me where to go if they remember this thread. Everyone was saying it was a joke. I just thought it was hilarious....
