Our original plan was to stay in the cabins. Then we began thinking about it. This usually leads to some sort of purchase or another. Last week we dove into the world of camping and purchased a brand new 27 ft Palomino Puma Unleashed. DH and the kids are into dirt bikes, ATV's and hunting, so the toy hauler portion will be well used. On our Disney trip it will house a couple of bicycles. The trailer itself sleeps 8 in a pinch, so SIL and our nephew will be joining us for all things Disney in September. As soon as DH gets the go ahead for leave from work, we are booking our 8 night stay in September and I can begin planning in earnest!! Squeeeee! :cheer2::cool1::thumbsup2:dancer:party::jumping2: :Pinkbounc: :bounce::goofy::ccat::donald::sulley: :tigger: :dogdance:

Congratulations!:cheer2: Hope you have a great time and enjoy your camper for many years to come! I know we have and I think you will love Fort Wilderness!

:welcome: to the *world* of camping! I'm sure you are excited, and will have many happy camping trips. I know what you mean about *thinking* leading to a purchase. We've been in that situation a few times. LOL

Oh darn it!

I mean, Congrats and all, but more campers at the Fort make it harder for YOURS TRULY to get a site...

Just KIDDING. :cool1: Welcome to the camping world. The Fort will become a regular stop for you in the future.

Congratulations. Many years of fun filled camping to you.

Remember to keep a notebook...write down the things you forgot on the maiden campout so you will put them in for the next campout..and take out the things you didn't use.

Take a walk or bike ride around the campgrounds and make notes about set ups you like, gear you wish you had, etc.
