Hi everyone. I thought I should finally join and introduce myself.

I'm Cariann, mom of 3 (ages 7, 6, 4) and we're bringing the kids on their 1st Disney trip in Feb 2010, to celebrate my dd's 5th birthday. I'm a former Disney Store Cast Member (1994-1999) and was married in Disney June of 99. I've been 20+ times, all without kids so this upcoming trip will be a completely different experience for us. Needless to say I am THRILLED to finally be going back, although need to re think everything about how to approach the park with crew in tow.

Small world . I am also in Framingham. Lived here since 1989. I used to go to the Disney Store near the mall OFTEN (until it closed ) My DH and I are leaving for our first trip to DL in 12 days. As you can see from my signature, we have been to WDW many times. Looking forward to seeing the original park. Our kids were 8 and 9 the first time we went. Both kids ending up going to college in Tampa, so WDW became a frequent place when we would visit them.

I'm new, too; and from Mass. I am from Braintree (south of Boston). We're DVC owners (Saratoga Springs) and our next trip "home" is in only 125 days! I have been married for 15 years and we have a 6.5 year old daughter whom we adopted from China.

Ahh yes then we might recognize each other. I was one of the Asst Managers there (store side not gallery) and was there far more than I should have been, LOL! I left a little before the store closed to pursue buying at TJX but loved that store to bits. Hope you have a great trip to DL. Someday we'll get out there, but I think that long of a flight right now with my crew would be torture.

I used to stay at "Saratoga" all the time when it was the Villas @ Disney Institute. I only wish a place like that still existed. The space the treehouses provided was wonderful (and would be appreciated so much more now with a family) and the location next to Downtown Disney was perfect! Ahh I miss that place.
