I saw that you said you can't wait until Fantasia comes out on DVD...but you know it's already out? Right? There's a 3 Disc set that came out a while ago with the original, Fantasia 2000, and a bonus disc. And I just did a quick search and saw Amazon has the original on DVD by itself.

Patience--when I was about 21 I told my mother that I was praying for patience because I was a very IMpatient person, especially with people who don't learn fast or need a lot of help. She told me then, don't pray for patience because God will put you in a situation where you'll HAVE to be patient. Lord knows, it's been a 23 year process, starting with Christian's older(high maintenance) brother. At this point I think I could rival Job. Hope the Lord doesn't choose to smite me...

Aww, thanks. We had a great day, even though the weather has been bad. Our nurse Samuel came around 4pm and took Christian for a short walk between thunderstorms. Then we had his favorite dinner, hot dogs and baked beans. About 8:30 we brought out the cupcakes and ice cream. You should have seen his eyes light up. He doesn't care one fig about presents, but that boy does love him some cake!

Your post brought tears to my eyes. Because of you, I will do my best to look at those with handicaps as being extra special. Every child (and every person) is here for a purpose and a reason. No problem! I hesitated to say anything because I thought maybe I was misunderstanding. But then I figured that if I didn't realize one of my faves was out and no one told me that would make me sad! LOL Glad I could help!
