Here lately I have been getting slack in leading the healthy lifestyle. I have been eating way to much and not exercising nearly enouth. I can't even remember to stretch.

As of today I'm recommitting to leading a healthier lifestyle. Eating proberly, exercising and stretching.

I had to buy a pair of jeans yesterday for my trip to the Pig that was the next size larger in the waist. Does anyone have any idea how much that hurt.

Anyone else out there need to get back on the wagon?

Think how much more it would have hurt if you hadn't bought the right size!:)

Yes, I'm trying to do the same and improve my health! Drive that old wagon here to PA so I can hop back on!

Ok, add me to the list. After picking up Kiena, please come get me in Arkansas. I had grand plans to lose some weight before this summer. :rolleyes1

I think I've lost 5 pounds but I needed to lose around 20. I wanted to lose 40 by next January. :guilty:

Congratulations on stepping onboard with recommitment. It is ceratinly not easy to resist the temptations. While I've been doing fairly well these days this place I find myself in now is where I usually bag it and fall off.

I'm going to offer that I will remain committed to the choices of a healthy life.

I am going to recommitt to a healthy lifestyle. I have slacked off on exercising after the Disney 1/2 marathon.

If you're like me you do ok most of the time but sometimes you just loose focus on our goals. You can kick those extra pounds. Yes Yes Yes.

Yep Lan, me to, one excuse after another. I need to just do it and focus on taking the time to exercise and make the right choices.

We can do this, YEA BABY!!!

Today my goal is to drink green tea for my caffeine fix instead of my usual 2-3 cans of Diet Coke. I don't add sugar to the tea so it has to be much healthier than the Coke stuff.

I'm going to miss the bubbles:sad1:

You are doing great, keep believing.

I had the best walk this morning. Remember the motivational comedy movie about the Jamacian Olympic Bob Slead Team, "Cool Runnings", there is a song in that movie called "Rise Above It". That was my mantra today and will be for the future.

When I hit the wind going up the hills today "Rise above it" kept me on pace and I did my 4 miles with the hills and wind and slower warm-up mile in 50 min. Here lately I've been doing around 53 min for that route. Today felt easy because I was recommitted to me and making it happen.

My eating yesterday was good today will be good to. I will make this happen!!!!

Everyone we can do this.

I not only need to get back on the wagon, I think I need to reconstruct it first. I'm here with you and rebuilding as I type.

Better and stronger. Yea Baby!!!

I found this great stuff, Birds Eye frozen veggies that you steam in the microwave. Then take the wrapping off and eat it. 60 calories and good. I come home starved at night after work and this kills the hunger and is good for me with super low calories.

Well, it didn't take long to fall off. :sad2: Yesterday I went out to eat and ordered a Diet Coke out of habit. I took a couple of sips when I felt the sickening realization of what I had just done!:scared1:

I asked the waitress if she could bring me a glass of water. No problem! Gave her back the Diet Coke glass just about full. Told her what I was trying to do and she said she would take it off the bill. How nice!

We fixed a nice salad bar dinner at home where I but greens, veggies and fruits in little bowls along our counter along w/ little bits of left overs. We all ate a healthy dinner w/ no whining from the kids because they think it's fun.

I'm hitching the wagon up again today!:woohoo:

I'm starting to get the fire and confidence back. 2 days of good eating choices under my belt and I went to the market today to restock us with good stuff.

Everyone is doing great, that was a plus that the kids liked the healthy eating plans. Our daughter is very anti healthy, she is a rebel, but she will come around eventually. But she is 20 and works so it's not an effect on our eating plans.

I had a good workout today and my confidence is letting me experiment with my limits again. Instead of staying in the comfort zone.

Be strong today.

Of course it's not to late. Wecome and congratulations on recommitting yourself to being healthy and fit. I like your quotes about believeing and dreaming, that is the stuff of magic and the magic is there.

The nscale was down a pound today, Yea Baby it's about dang time the scale started going in that direction.

Onward and foreward!!!!

I will join in to stay committed. I have lost 17 pounds since Goofy trip but this week has been tough and with another WDW trip for Minnie, things could get bad. I will have to be back in the saddle after Minnie:scared1:

I feel your pain Robert. I'm heading to Cincinnati to have a 4 day party weekend with OMG Marathoners. Some of which train an ungodly 100 miles a week. As you can guess eating will be job one for this group. Grilled burgers and brats, beer and those vodka chick drinks will be flowing.

I have managed to drop 3 pounds this last week and should be able to drop another couple before the weekend. With any will power at all I might be able to at least not gain all of it back.

I will have a half marathon in there to so that should help a little.

Dave:hippie:

we (me and mom) got back on to the track and we have been going to the track and the gym. We also did out first 4 miles in 54mins. Yeah. we were very happy. Now can't wait to go down on the scale to. :) good luck everyone!
