Still have to wait exactly 8 weeks for our next stay. But Lukas and me are playing nearly every Day the "what will we do to which time when we are in Disneyland game".

We sit there and try to imagine what we will do in which order. It helps a lot to get along with the impatience. Hope my English is´t to bad and you can understand what I mean. :earboy2:
Your English is extremely good!!!

By the way does anyone know how to make a countdown ticker that counts actual days and not just weeks??
With ours it changed to days when it got near enough - can't remember exactly when.

Or you can get a counter like mine from www.v50.net. It's not as pretty as the Ticker Factory ones, but it does count down in days.

As you can see we've just dropped below the 200 day mark to our trip to DLP in June. Nothing booked yet, but we've definately got that week off work, so it's pretty certain we're going. Going to stay at the HNY for the first time as that way we'll have done all the hotels around the lake.

The California trip mentioned on the other countdown is a lot less certain. I've told Erika that if she can come up with a certain amount of savings by April, I'll match them and we can go. There's so much that we didn't get to do on our honeymoon there in 2004, she is just dying to go back! If the money isn't there, then we'll go to the Lake District instead and move California back to 2007.

You're a hard taskmaster - but excellent motivation for saving money after Christmas!! Hope you make it!

I'm down to under 10 months till my next trip !! We are planning to go with another family and stay at the Explorers.I need to wait 2 more days to book the flights I'm planning so early.

I'm looking forward to sharing the magic particularly with Hannah , Jessica's little friend and celebrating Jessica's 4th Birthday and becoming a child myself for a few days !!

20 days until we get there again! I can't wait to see all the Christmas decorations!

Who knows when I will next visit DLP.

But I am going to WDW in 117 day :-)))).

I've been looking for a countdown that actually does count down.. and I found one. It's not as cute as the tickers everyone has now, but at least it really tells you the number of days, etc. so I'm happy. In case anyone else is interested:

I actually made up my own countdown using Excel. It's not flashy but it works!

13 Days for us.....and I am so excited (just want to get the Xmas shopping out of the way first though!).
Looking forward to our first Disney Christmas and all the decorations and special shows!
Looking forward to eating in the Blue Lagoon again!
In fact...just looking forward to EVERYTHING (except perhaps the temperature!)
(Note to self:finish your halloween party report BEFORE your next trip to avoid confusion!)

I should pay more attention! I just went up over this thread and realized the ticker I have has already been posted. sorry about that! Didn't mean to take credit where it was not due!

DLP to us matches Disney MAGIC and Christmas joy !!!!! plus a trip overthere
makes me remember of many trips we took with my parents, when they were younger and could share with us the wonderful experience of Paris and DLP !!!! So many sweet memories as I walk down Main street and see "Walt's", Mom favorite restaurant or the shops where Dad used to buy me the last "gift" of the last day of our staying !!!

Marco and I look so forward to this short trip ... ;) fingers crossed !!!!
From now on I'll live vicariously (?) trough others' trip reports !!!!

Having said all of that just a week ago, plans may well have changed already! Just been looking at the prices on the DLP website and that one week in June we were planning to go (w/c 18th) is more expensive than all the others and I can't see why.

To stay at Hotel New York for 4 nights will cost us £787 - and that's with 10% shareholders discount, while just one week later it's back down to £664. If we go the week earlier the prices are the same, but as it's 4 for 3, we could get it for as little as £578.

Trouble is, Erika thinks the weeks before and after her leave have already been booked up at work, so the chances of her swapping are slim. We've got our fingers crossed - no matter which week, we'll still be going, but we're certainly hoping to get the best price possible.
