Join AAA?

I'm wondering if there would be any benefit for our upcoming trip if we were to join AAA?

Anyone know?

None of the restaurants have AAA discount anymore. It would depend on if you wanted to use the AAA discount for hotel or car rental. The other thing is tickets purchased from AAA include parking.

And right now, the 5 for 3 deal is way better than anything you can get with AAA. I had called about the discount before the 5 for 3 was announced, and it was only like 10% for the summer.

That being said, I do love my AAA membership. I've had to use their services on occasion, but we do lots of weekend/long weekend trips, and we more than pay for our membership on what we save on hotels in a year. I'm using our AAA discount to get a good deal on a room in La Jolla for a few nights after we leave DLR.

I saw an ad where if you use AAA and stay at a Best Western Hotel, thru BW's Reward Program, you get extra rewards points.

We are using AAA to get a discount at the Candy Cane Inn. We've bought tickets from them before to get the free parking. There might be a few stores at DTD that offer AAA discount, but don't know. But we have AAA because I like have one number to call no matter where we travel if we have car trouble.

I think they still give you AAA discounts on park tours if you planned on doing one of those.

We have AAA and have it for our long trip from Sacramento to Anaheim if we have car trouble. We use it for the hotels that we like to stay off property.
