Just came back from Sweeney Todd, as a matter of fact.
They make a great team xD

I love Johnny Depp. I think he's handsome even when he isn't being a pirate. What can I say? I like pale, skinny dudes. His preformance as Willy Wonka was fun, not my favorite, though. But I was oddly attracted to him in it. I adore Edward Scissorhands. That is by far one of my favorite movies of all time. Sleepy Hollow is good, too. I haven't yet seen Sweeney Todd, but I really want to. Johnny Depp+Tim Burton+Steven Sondheim= .

I do think that he's been overhyped, but he's still one of, if not the, most down to earth celebrities out there today. He chooses roles that interest him, not ones that will make huge amounts of money.

I still adore him and I think his acting style is great.

A lot of people like Johnny Depp. I know a lot of older people that adore him too. I know aunts, friends, family friends, and more that love him.
Why insist that Johnny Depp is only popular to "teeny boppers"? It's annoying. Esp. to those that like him for who he is.
So what. A lot of girls love him. And to them, they have plenty of reasons to. I say let them go for him. I won't judge them. It isn't my place to insist that they only like him because of a certain "craze" or that liking him is the "popular" thing to do. They could like his acting style, the way he can switch back and forth to many completely different characters, his humblness, etc. Not because they are going with the crowd.

i appreciate him as an actor, but i am not a terribly big fan of his. I think things are famous JUST because he is in them (because of his teeny-bopper fan girl following)

Johnny Depp is amazing. I think he's only hot as a pirate though. Other times, he's just ok. Not my type.

But he's an amazing character. He really gets into his roles, which is starting to become rare in today's movies, in my opinion.

I wasn't planning on logging in today. I was looking at threads and saw this and had to log in.

Johnny Depp!!!!!!!! I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE, LOVE, etc., Johnny Depp.

He's gorgeous and an amazing actor. He takes anything thats thrown at him and makes it awesome. I remember when my dad told me aout him. I had just seen Charlie and the Chocolate Factory and my dad was like "You know Jack Sparrow?" I hadn't seen pirates but I had seen jack. when my dad told me willy wonka and jack were played by the same person. then i had to see pirates. I was immediatley hooked. now I have a lot of pirates stuff..posters (of jack) a jack doll, a jack action figure, jack pillowcase, etc. I also love Edward Scissorhands, Finding Neverland, Corpse Bride.
If Johnny's in it...it rocks.
I agree with the whole Tim Johnny thing. But i'm disappointed about Sweeny Todd, i looks awesome but since its rated R I'm not gonna be able to see it for 4 years (when I'm 18)
