Who likes Johnny Depp? I love him, I'm just curious how many people actually find him revolting. It's hard to believe someone would find him ugly, but It occurs more then I would have thought.

I think he is a great actor.
I don't think he's ugly.
But I don't think he's amazingly gorgeous either.

I love him in POTC but I haven't really seen him in any other films so I wouldn't really know of his acting abilities.

Yea, him and Tim are a great pair. I don't think he's very overrated. A little, but I don't consider him overrated because he's so down to earth.

I honestly think he isn't very good looking. I prefer clean cut boys. but he is a good actor. but I have to agree with Liv he is a bit overrated.

He's awesome in any movie. I don't think he's georgous but he has something in him...
His best movies are POTC. I love how he can act with so many different personalities. From Willy Wonka to Jack Sparrow to Sweeney Todd. It's really cool.

I dislike him. He's a fine actor, I just don't enjoy his characters.
I only find him good looking as Jack. Otherwise he kind of scares me (Willy Wonka is enough to give me nightmares).

ITA!!!

For a while I thought he was a sell-out, but then I came to realize, that it was just people buying-into him that made him seem like a sell-out.

I'm really not a fan of his at all, I used to be, until he became such a huge "thing" and started making bigger-blockbuster type movies.

And the Burton-Depp combo is just getting tired IMHO.
Burton just goes to Depp for EVERY SINGLE movie now, I mean, audition some other actors and maybe you'll find something NEW!
In my opinion, both just need to branch out some more, and try something new.

I really do like a lot of JOhnny's old movies, but there hasn't been one since Pirates 1 that I've really liked at all. (Other than Finding Neverland, but that was more for Kate Winslet & Freddy Highmore's performances than anything) I don't know what's happened.

Anyways, I'm no longer a fan, and you'll have to do ALOT of convincing to turn me back into one.
