My awesome DW has a really good chance to be filmed for John Ratzenberger's "Made in America" next Friday and we will be on our 3 day weekend at WDW.

He is coming to Maine and at the company my wife works he will be filming the production floor as well as the QC department. My wife runs the QC department is she is pretty much in for the filming. I have asked her three times if she would like to reschedule our trip but all she keeps saying is that she would rather be with me at WDW then on TV. I feel bad but

DO I HAVE A AWESOME WIFE OR WHAT?

:goodvibes
We all enjoy that show!

What a good sport your wife is. She knows her priorities... you AND WDW!!!

Thanks for sharing!

Your wife is a very sensible woman..... I'd rather spend time in WDW with my husband than spend time in Maine with Cliff Claven.... and I can say that because I live in Maine. :teeth:

Tom's of Maine is a local business to me...when I was a kid they used to give out the toothpaste in school. It tasted really gross. ;) There was always one kid who liked it, so we'd all give it to him and he'd go home with a years supply, hehe.

They are a good neighbor though - a good company. Just make horrible tasting toothpaste. ;)

I'd pick WDW over Ham, I mean Cliff, I mean John Ratzenburger any day!!!! I'll take any excuse to go to WDW, but it sure would be fun to be on "Made in America" too.
Tom's of Maine is a great company! My husband is more into the natural stuff than I am so he uses their products quite often. He loves them!

"Empire Falls" was shot in our town 2 summers ago. They included half the town in their production. Half of that ended up on the cutting room floor. The ones that did make it to the screen we saw them for a milli-second. It's not worth missing a trip to WDW. TAKE THE TRIP!

I myself have always believed in "Better living thru Chemistry" Maybe it is because I grew up in the 70's and there was a bunch of pharmacological life enhancing, I mean alterating or was in thought erasing chemical things going on then. :rotfl2:

But really Tom's of Maine tooth paste has really changed for the better, it has great taste and works very well I never cared for it but we have all switched to it now.

I am glad we are still going to WDW but it would have been neat to see my DW on that show, maybe I could have found a way to slip in a couple of lime green Mickey heads from the paint department at HD ;)

Hope everybody has a Disney Day

They were also in my town. My mom spent two days redoing her shop for the shoot, and it ended up in there for about 1/2 second, LOL. So is Hollywood. ;) However, she did get to spend two days chatting with the set designer of Sex and the City (who was working on the picture) so it wasn't a total loss.

Here's a funny thing though...they did my mom's store up to be a realtor from that time period, so manions and such were on pictures in the window selling for like 20-30K - and people actually stopped in to try and buy them! LOL.

As to Tom's toothpase - glad to hear it tastes better now. I haven't tried it in 15 years but I can still taste that gritty stuff like I just tasted it ten minutes ago. I'll have to try some out. :)
