John Micheal Montgomery arrested today!!

John Michael Montgomery was arrested this morning in Lexington, KY for DUI, carrying a concealed weapon, and having a controlled substance. He was taken to the county detention center and has a court hearing this afternoon.

When will people learn?

Not surprised, he sang the National Anthem at a Nascar race and was hammered, forgot the words and then fell off the stage afterwards. The fall wasn't shown on camera but it was reported by many people on a Nascar message board I frequent.

Too bad. "We danced to I love the way you love me" one of his hits at my wedding. I love that song but he hasnt really done anything popular since the mid 90's.

He has some great love songs... and I love his smile and eyes... I may be weird but I think he is a cutie (maybe not all drunk and drugged up though)

Not a surprise. It's "well known" in the area (my husband's family is there) that he has quite a problem with alcohol. Although this may be the first time he's actually been "arrested," it's not the first time that it's happened.

My son just saw him in concert on Sunday night in Minnesota and said when John Michael Montgomery was talking to the audience he sounded like he had a very bad cold, but otherwise, his singing was good. Maybe he was taking controlled substances for his cold.
