John Edwards Show

Has anyone actually got through on the phones for tickets to the John Edwards show? Trying to get through for tickets was worse than trying to get through for breakfast reservations at Cindy's castle.

My friend finally got connected to a tape recording but was told that she still may not get the tickets. Has anyone been lucky enough to be in the audience during one of his tapings?

My DH's brother passed away unexpectedly in September. In November his sister went to the show and when John was obviously speaking about my BIL she was to scared to respond. My DH was mad at her, I told him she just wasn't ready for it, it was to soon. My DH thought she should have found out what his brother had to say, but my SIL was a wreck still and just couldn't do it. It's a shame, she already had the tickets because she was hoping to talk about their grandmother but then after my BIL's death she got more than she bargained for. The friend who was with her said it was creepy the things he knew that they immediately knew was from BIL.

How long did it take for your SIL to get the tickets? Was it awhile from the time she called in for them? How long did she have to wait for the actual taping?

If I recall correctly she didn't get the tickets herself. Someone gave them to her for her birthday back in the summer, so I'm not sure about any of your questions! Sorry If I see her in the next couple of days I'll ask her for you.

The show was cancelled but I'm almost postive he will still do live shows around the country.

I would love to see him. I have a good friend that was killed in a car accident 20yrs ago and a neice that was killed in an accident 2yrs ago that I would love to hear from.

I went to some paranormal website the other day, because I was looking for info about a girl who supposedly has x-ray vision. It sounds so far out, and unreal. It was on my local news the other day. I'm not sure if I'm a believer, but it made for interesting reading.

I wonder if John Edwards is for real? Why did they cancel him?

Apparently SciFi network is still showing episodes but I'm almost positive the regular syndicated show was cancelled last month. I don't know if the SciFi ones are new or just repeats though. Someone posted on the sweeps board that they won a trip to view a taping of the show and they called to offer him/her money instead since the show was cancelled.

I attended his show in Kansas City. It was a huge crowd. He was very entertaining. He explained how he developed his abilities. He answered questions for people in the audiance, but it was such a huge crowd that only those near the front actually got to ask a question.

I saw him at Westbury Music Fair on Long Island. He puts on a great show. He is very entertaining. The day I was there he read a woman who lost her husband in the Towers on 9/11. It was just so sad. After I saw his show in person, I said if he is a fake, he is really good at it.

Stimpy, is correct. There are no new shows being taped for tv. He will do seminars but all those who got tickets for his tv show are out of luck. I went to friends of John Edward site at: http://www.johnedwardtalk.org/ and read where all those who had tickets have been called and told there will be no new tapings.

I wonder why the phone lines are still active?

That same question was asked on the link to the board I posted earlier. The members there are very upset that there is no message on the phone lines saying there will be no more gallery tapings. Some of them also called and either got a busy signal or got the recording saying they will call you back for tickets to the gallery. They have tried contacting the station to complain about the lack of a message on their ticket request phoneline but no one is returning their calls.

I don't know any specifics as I was just lurking on the board trying to find answers to your questions. They do have a petition up to get the John Edward show back on the air, but that's really all I know. You might join the board there and read some threads to find out more.

Not the same guy you are talking about, although my brother is pretty entertaining I must say.
