has anyone ever eaten at Joe's Crab Shack near DL? Is it good food? Thanks!

I have not eaten at the one near DL but have eaten at other Joe's around the area. It is a fun restaurant, but only average seafood IMO. I would prefer to eat several other place before Joe's but on occasion it is what I am looking for. There is now a Bubba Gumps near DL and I like that much better, for both the atmosphere and the food. They have a beer and garlic peel and eat shrimp dish that is super delicious if you like shrimp. I got that and a side of mashed potatoes as a meal last time I was there. YUM!!!!

We haven't tried the one by DL, but we have one in Old Sacramento right on the river that's pretty good. Most of my family gets the BBQ crab.

we ate there last year.. It was very good. The wait was rather long (probably 45 minutes) and I can't remember what day of the week it was. This was out first time there.... loved the crab legs and all......very yummy.

We have one here too. Food just okay, atmosphere, very loud. And, unless you enjoy being royally embarrassed in front of a lot of people, don't tell them it is your birthday!

We have one at home and it's decent enough for chain food.

I recommend the Crab Cooker in Tustin. However, it's about 7 miles from DL.
