Wow. I would imagine the stress of the whole "situation: may have hastened things somehow, if nothing more than perhaps him giving up his will to continue. Lung Cancer is a terrible disease.

Thanks. I was thinking Robin was responding to something Helene said and I was quite confused as I hadn't seen Helene post.

I didn't see anything on CNN or MSNBC, Tmz said he was gravely ill.

I went to PSU, my dh is a student at PSU right now. Grew up with JoePa (of course when your a coach for 55 years its hard not to grow up wit him lol) They have opened beaver stadium and have videos playing there now... student have begun to come in, the road to his house has been blocked... its a very sad night at state college... he was indeed a legend.
