Jody - It's so nice to read your posts on lowcarbfriends. You are doing so well and I just wanted to catch up with your journal this afternoon.
How are you feeling? I'm happy to read you are drinking lots of water. I just want to second decaff's comments about measuring. It sure has made a difference in my attitude toward the pounds coming off slower. I'm wearing a pair of pants today that would definitely be classified as "droopy drawers". I looked in the mirror and couldn't believe how baggy they are in the waist, thighs and butt.

And this was a pretty classy place? There went my idea of having a piece of chicken breast and a veggie. I ended up with a HUGE specialty salad - but only ate about 1/4 of it.
]. Its after 2pm and I just started on the water but I am determined to make it another good water day!

Four pounds down and enjoying life on the Beach! Woohoo! Weekends are tough for me too. I realized that I ate too much this weekend and didn't have as much water as I usually do. Today, I'm trying to get back on track and I'm starting to prepare to join you on the Beach on Sunday! Thanks for the PM you sent!
