I was just coming to say this, maybe it is a good thing for him not to testify Juan would shred this person to bits. So 6 years later? That is a joke.

Oh yeah...what's with witnesses coming out of the woodwork all these years later??? Do you remember when Casey Anthony's brother was on the stand and Jose Baez was allegedly trying to draw testimony out of him and the brother ended up really not saying anything, but his tearful refusal to answer questions (after he supposedly had gone to JB with this information) suggested there was a deep dark family secret? I always thought that was a performance by both of them...that there really wasn't anything to tell but they were going to get the idea across to the jury without actually lying. I can't help thinking that Nurmi knows exactly what he's doing...that no way was any testimony going to be closed, per THE LAW...and that these alleged witnesses refusing to testify now and what their testimony would be, would get out there hopefully to the jury...at least one of them...even though they're not supposed to read or hear anything. No lying under oath necessary. Maybe I'm just cynical.
