Week 5 in the Jodi Arias penalty phase retrial is about to begin. This may be the first week the trial actually meets for four days. Fridays are always dark. By my count, this is day 10 but the jury was sent home on one of those days without hearing any evidence. So, there were 9 actual trial days in four weeks

No objection by the State.
Exhibit 739 -- “Stop emailing my 9-year-old daughter. Thanks. Damian Ashdown.”
The subject line was “Lexy, the proof is in the pudding.


: Jeff Hughes, Travis Alexander's business colleague, clarifies the email by Damien Ashdown and his 9-yo daughter:
"Travis sent hundreds of emails out every month promoting his PPL business. I've sent the very same email out with the subject line "the proof is in the pudding". Obviously the email went to the wrong person. You have to be 18 to work with PPL so it had to be a wrong address. This was sent out through an automatic system so the child could have received several over many weeks and it's no wonder the dad asked that his daughter be removed."
