Jodi Arias penalty phase retrial begins Monday, 9/29

It seems that Stephens keeps siding with jodi, because she is afraid of something going wrong. If she can't control the court room she needs to step away and let some one else do it. And I think a lot of these motions that Nurmi keeps filing is a waste of time. It is costing tax payers so much money. And these are motions that are just a piss off to nurmi and tattling.

Well, this isn't Nurmi whining if it's a fact from the first trial:

Nurmi also objects to remarks Martinez made questioning the authenticity of the phone sex tape. State stipulated it was real in 1st trial.

Stephens agrees to tell jury that state stipulated to the tape. Martinez objects.

And just as the argument picks up speed back and forth between juan and Nurmi, Stephens calls the lawyers to the bench for some white noise.

It may be that Nurmi's attempts to keep the State on the up and up is what keeps Jodi from winning an appeal, she certainly won't be able to claim Nurmi didn't go all out for her.

And there's no reason for Martinez to act the *******, gawd, he won the first round.

It seems this jury is focused on Juan. He has kept them pretty focused. Now Nurmi has told them they will be hearing from Jodi. So we have to see what the jury is going to do. They are a fresh set of eyes and ears.
