Problem is judge is asking jury to state how they feel now about the trial going until the end of Feb. This is taking so long. They might just vote for the death penalty for the grief Nurmi has put them through

I'm doing well thanks. The surgery was a complete success. Immediate pain relief. No more pain. Shoulder good as new (weird huh?).
I would have loved to have seen Wilmot! LOL.

Well it's her and Wormi's fault. They filed so many motions to get this phase thrown out that I'm sure it took time for Judge Stephens to review them all. I'm almost willing to bet they'll probably file another motion for dismissal on grounds for the right to a speedy trial. Even though they're the one's tying it up.

So glad surgery went well! No pain is a good thing. I wonder if Jodi also dropped her pencil when Juan was questing about Jodi being alone with the computer, that may have been priceless...

I've been following along when I can. We've been really busy. Since we work for an elected official, we have a new person this year. Lots of changes going on. At this point, we're counting our blessing that we are still employed.

I feel bad for this jury as well. A trial that was only supposed to last until December is now going through Feb. And who knows, maybe longer at the rate the defense is filing motions left and right. They just need to give up already and save it for the appeal.

At least work is keeping you busy. Being employed is a blessing. The judge did rule on all 17 motions Nurmi filed. It was quite lengthy. But denied on all of them. I don't know if there is anything left to file, there is only one left on the docket for Feb. Hope you stop in soon!
