Did they show that whole thing in court, about the primping and everything? And where did she plan to kill herself and when, in jail? I know it's doable, but they pretty much take most opportunities away from prisoners, don't they? Where would she even come up with making that statement? You better be pretty darn sure you're going to be dead before a trial if you're going to say something like that.

I think so, and she sure wasn't giving any indications of being ready to kill herself. In fact, she was coming across with great confidence.

They're talking about her being so little girl-like and innocent. I hope the prosecution brings up what she did immedately after the murder regarding the guy she went straight to and attempted to seduce.

The defense is claiming that Travis salaciously liked the little girl look, but I think the little girl innocent look while she's testifying might backfire on her (hope so!). How do we know that it wasn't HER playing up the little girl role in their sex life? Maybe that's what SHE was into, and he was feeding her the lines SHE wanted to hear? And I think it's somewhat hilarious that the frigid looking defense attorney emphasized that "when Jodi PRETENDED to have an orgasm", cuz we all know GOOD girls don't have real ones. I'm just sayin'. But this whole case has set women's equality back a century...men are drivers of sexual relationships, and women only go along with it for them.

The problem I have with the yet to be heard sex tape is that SHE recorded it, it's of HER choosing, and it's really just a snapshot of their relationship. We don't know what may have preceded it...other phone calls, other actions between the two of them...again, with her as the one setting the tone. Honestly, I think her purpose in recording them was so that she could use it against him in the future (had she not killed him) to break up a relationship between Travis and whomever, or hold it over his head that she would.

I think you're probably right. This is not the sweet, pitiful child that she's portraying. She stole a gun from her grandparents and got gas cans from an ex-BF. She knew just exactly what she was going to do. I can't imagine anybody falling for self-defense.

I'm watching HLN, and the video has her talking about the wooden spoon, and the commentators just mentioned her taking a baseball bat to her little brother when she was five. You really get the feeling that she may have been a real handful.

Also, one of the commentators made the statement that her sister was yawning as JA detailed the terrible abuse she supposedly suffered.

As far as the make-up part, that may have not been shown in court only on HLN.

I'm glad Martinez has time to prepare for her. He will have all these questions ready for her bizarre stories.

I have to agree. While I certainly don't approve of slapping your child, the girl stayed out all night. Her circumstances are a lot different than a child who lives in physical abuse. I just heard a body language expert comment on her responses and that her testimony is full of lies.

This trial is something else! I don't think Jodi will get to Travis until tomorrow at least, and then, maybe the cross on Thursday. She is only at age 20 or so, and we have a loooong time at the rate she is going. I'm not sure of the relevance of every made up detail of her life to the murder of Travis.

This cross examination is going to be so incredible! I can hardly wait. The mountain time is killing me though, it doesn't get good until the kids get home from school! Their schedule is so weird, why don't they start until 10:30 am Az time?
