I just had a chuckle watching the news.

Drew Peterson is asking for a new trial because of his defense team. Judge is suppose to rule today.

I see this in 6 months time with this trial, if she is convicted.
She will so blame Nurmi for this mess.

Wish I could see that. I thought they'd be rerunning it in light of the trial, but I can't find it.

Just watching InSession and her testimony. I noticed this yesterday. She said that when they went into the bathroom to do the photo shoot in the shower, they used his camera because hers was already in the car...that most of her stuff, except for her purse, already were. Isn't that the last thing you do usually when you're leaving somewhere? I don't think this is some smoking gun or big evidence, but it just seems to me that she made sure that she was ready to leave ASAP after the crime.

Regarding the roommates...Jodi and Travis were alone, the murder occurred at 5:30 PM, and one roommate was due home at 6:30 PM, per Beth Karras I think.

Killing me that I have that darn hair appt today.

How close are they to the crime scene? I wish they could go there. I think it really gives jurors a better perspective of everything. (Altho, I'm assuming the house has been sold, and what happens then? COULD they even go there?) For instance, Beth Karras kept repeating that it's really a very small area, and that there really wasn't a whole lot of time for Jodi to actually get into the closet and get the gun with Travis in hot pursuit. I think the diagrams make it look big.

Could the timeline been longer? Do they know in fact Travis was dead in the picture where JA was dragging him? I would go back and search the photos but I made that mistake last week. I saw the picture of Travis in the shower and wasn't expecting it. Which leads to me to the next question, if the jury saw all the crime scene photos, how could they not give her the death penalty?

In the dragging picture there is blood running down his neck and back. Some believe that is the moment she slit his throat. He is likely dead or near death.

The timeline is pretty set from his last picture alive (sitting in the shower), through the accidental pictures to the last dragging picture. It's just seconds between all that.


I am so anxious for the cross today. I can't imagine what she is going to do when facing mr. Martinez! I have cleared the schedule.

Thank you for posting that correction. Tuesday I kept getting my time zones confused for our dental appointments, we almost went an hour early coz I'm in CST, but got MT for AZ on my mind too much.

You know, I was thinking of his sisters last night. I just couldn't get the dark-haired one out of my mind. Her sitting there sobbing. I finally figured it out - she was sobbing during J's testimony because she knows they will never really, truly know how he died. All they're going to have is all this made-up fantasy garbage Jodi is spilling every chance she gets, and the report from the ME to try and piece it together for themselves.

It made me so sad to think about that, KWIM?

Anyhow, I told my husband DO NOT call me after Noon today, I will not be answering the phone. He says, "I can't even call to say I love you?" And I say, "NO!" I have my lunch already made and I will start dinner during the lunch break. I'm ready!
