Jobs

I work at Subway (: It's pretty decent, actually. In high school, working there, is prettty easy for me. I actually enjoy it

Do you like it? I've always wanted to work at Subway! but I hated fastfood! Idk if I can make other people's sandwhiches lol

Yes I enjoy it. They are flexible, and it's not your typical fastfood. But I guess it depends on whether you like subs or not. I love them. Subway is flexible, perfect for being in high school right now. It's not as hard as you probably think it is, but it does keep you busy. & atleast instead of McDonalds where you can't really see your food getting made, people can atleast ask what they want, so you'll never be wrong (:

I work at the Bulk Barn. It's a Canadian bulk food chain.
I'm a supervisor. I like my job for the pay and my coworkers, and I've been there a while.

LOVE BULK BARN!!!!! hahaha :thumbsup2

i'm only 15. most places only hire 16+ here.

Woah. I was just going to make a thread about this..in fact, that's why I came on here in the first place. XD

Anywhoo, I work at the YMCA in the Kids Stuff Department. It has its ups and downs, that's for sure. Somedays I love my job and somedays I absolutely despise it. But hey, at least I make money. (:

at the end of this year i'll be a pro disc golfer

I've been at Jamba Juice for 21 months. I hate my job a lot. I love a few of the people I work with; one girl is basically like my big sister (which she loves to tell me when she's drunk and I have to drive her home). But it's not as fun as it looks. I've only got to last another 8 months until I leave for college though...
I have an internship that I go to twice a week, once for pay. I've been there for like 6 months now. It's most definitely the highlight of my week. I love going there. I'm totally going to cry when I have to leave in 8 months for college. =(

From September 2007-August 2009 I worked at Chick-fil-a it was a nice first job but I honestly don't want to do fast food again. Last semester I went to school full time, and I had enough in savings to last through this summer.

I started looking for a summer job in October/November and am in the final round for Resident Assistant recruitment for next summer/fall. Being and RA will pay for around 80% of my room/board(which includes utilities, cable, my own room/bathroom/kitchen) + 15 hours a week at 7.25 pay. I am really hoping to get this job as I can keep while I continue to study at college.

I also applied for an internship at Sea World which I am also in the final round for. It is just for the summer at $9.00 an hour.

Over winter break I went back to Chick-fil-a and worked 40 hour weeks to pay for next semesters fees (so I don't have to take out of savings, I try to avoid that.)

i work at McAlisters Deli
I started working here when i was 16 im 18 now and still happily employeed there.
Mcdeli (as employees call it) has become a second family to me all of the staff has worked there for at least a year or more. so were all really close and hangout even after our work shift is over :]
i also meet my best friend through working at McAlisters

I don't have a job. I'm nervous about getting a job. but then of course i get nervous about everything. bleh. I want a job, but like I just said, I get nervous with new things.
