So. Today I went job hunting, because I decided that I needed another job! And I had fun doing it too! I really hope I get a job at Hansbrands inc. (Bra and undies)

I was wondering, Where do YOU work? Do you like having a job?

I USED to work at Culvers (Fast food) I loved being on my feet all day, I loved the money I made, I learned the value of a doller, I learned to manage my money, and I made new friends! Except, I hated fast food, people are CRANKY when they are hungry!

I was actually going to make a thread like this. :)

I work as a receptionist in the offices below my church.
I pick up the phone, answer questions, sell these giftcard coupon things for the poor, sell mass cards and all that jazz.

I love it because they let you read books, text on your cellphone, and do homework if nobody needs help.

I don't like it because if nobody is there, it's REALLY boring. I'd like to have a job where i'm always on my feet. That way time goes by faster.

I don't have a job, but I probably should get one when stage crew isn't in session.

Stage crew schedule:
5-6 weeks of weekdays 3:00pm-5:45pm, Saturdays 9:00am-1:00pm
Running crew schedule:
1 week of Sunday 11:00am-4pm, Weekdays 6:00pm-9:00ish pm
abt 1 week of Friday, 3:00pm-12:00am, Saturday 9:00am-10:00pm, Sunday 12:00pm-6:00pm, Monday: 4:00pm-9:00pm, Tuesday 7:00am-3:00pm, Wednesday 12:00pm-5:00pm
Show days: Thurs-Sat: 5:30pm-10:30pm, Sunday (with brunch and strike and senior circle) 9AM-around 12:00am.

^And then I have to go to school the next morning.

I work at HMV, which I don't think you guys have in the US but it's like the store FYE, we sell music, movies & videogames. I love working there! We're a smaller store so there are only about 12 people who work there but they're all super nice. :thumbsup2
I love working there because I learn soooo much about music & movies and the customers who come in are really cool.
I've been working there for over a year now.

In the summer I worked at HMV & was a receptionist & admin assistant at a big metal company, I liked that alright, but I could never work a 9-5 job like that for more than just 4 months haha. The way was great but it was just soooo boring!!

And before I worked at HMV I worked at AMC, which was fun for a while, the people who I worked with were awesome, but it sucked giving up my weekends for 2 and a half years. Sometimes it was really fun to work there, but then we got this new manager who was a total jerk and a big group of us quit at the same time (the guy was literally interrogating everyone and accusing pretty much everyone who had worked there for over a year of stealing and it was just really shady and I just didn't like being treated like that) I really do miss the free movies though

I used to work in a fast food place. I absolutely hated it. Hated the work, the people, everything about it. So I quit.

It left a really bad taste in my mouth about jobs. I applied to our local library but they are not hiring. That is my dream job right now, afterschool and on the weekends. I'll probably end up working in this other fast food resturant they are building this summer, but it's a lot easier place to work, the boss is nice and will work with my school and college class schedule and it'll probably be better people.

I really hate not having a job because I feel like a lazy slob, but I have so much school stuff going on all the time, that my mom thinks I should probably just get summer jobs. None of my friends have jobs either but it makes me feel horrible that I'm not getting money to save for college.

i love HMV :goodvibes

i dont have a job at the minute, i am too young, lol.

I just recently applied for Justice ("tween" clothing)
so far that's it.
i hope i get it though. xD

I don't have a job, but i'd like to try and get one, especially at Hawkins Bazaar. It's a shop which sells unusual gifts. I'd probably only get a Saturday job though, seeing as I have important exams, and i'm getting ready for University.

MCDONALDS. yeee know.

it's amazing, cause it's crazy easy, I get tons of free and discounted food, and umm it's easy haha. Plus it helps me pay for my expenses (car insurance, vending machine, ect)

I used to be lead cashier at a shoe store. I say 'used' because they opened up another store in my area, so that really cut my hours. Nobody was coming into the store anymore when I was there, and I was only getting about 9 hours/week. My boss was too nice to fire people though, so I just quit to let someone else have my hours. I'm wicked busy with college anyway.

And now my parents won't let me get a job; I'm serious. They want me to focus on school, but I may be getting a tutoring job this semester.

OH, and of course, hopefully in May I will be moving to FL and working for The Mouse for 7 months!

Same here! Im WAY to old for their clothing but I loved it when I was younger (When it was limited too;)) and I like the colors in the store so I applied! That is actually one of my top choices!

That is how my mom is with my sister. She is in college and won't let her get a job.

Haha! Hopefully I will be in August!

right now i babysit almost everyweek. i need a real job though, im thinking about applying to the Publix or Kroger where i live. either that or i may apply at the hockey shop at the ice rink since im always there and i know the people that own it, theyre good friends with my parents. so maybe it will all work out.

Ive had a few jobs, PetSmart, Pizza delivery, grounds keeper at a tennis club, factory worker. But unfortunatly I have nothing right now. I would kill to work in a surf shop or clothing store that sells stuff like that (ANYTHING but Pac Sun though, jerks). I need to find a job quick...im running out of money!! ha ha

I work at the Bulk Barn. It's a Canadian bulk food chain.
I'm a supervisor. I like my job for the pay and my coworkers, and I've been there a while.

i don't have a job.

i go to school full time, and i can't drop below a 3.0 or i'll lose my "income" (scholarships) so i kind of consider that my job, since i make more than what i would at a min. wage job.

I work at Fitworks Fitness Center. Its a gym here in Ohio and there are a couple in Kentucky. I love it. I work in playland with kids and sometimes front desk. I get paid good and i also get a free membership

I don't have a job when I'm in Vegas, but I still cover shifts at my old job when I'm home over breaks.
I worked at a little local coffee shop through high school. When I go back for spring semester I'm going to try to find an on-campus job.

I work at Subway (: It's pretty decent, actually. In high school, working there, is prettty easy for me. I actually enjoy it
