Jobs?

Well, I don't have a job, but lots of my friends do! um some of them work at Pick n' Save, Mc Donalds, Borders, Gap, and some other local stores. None of them are 16 yet, so they can't do a lot of stuff...like at Gap, I think all they can do is put tags on stuff, but I don't know! I wouldn't mind working there! Hope this gave you some ideas!

I have to get a job this summer! A lot of people have jobs at like Shoprite and Pathmark, and some other food stores.

ummm..you could work at Randalls, Krogers or other grocery stores...all they would make you do is pack the groceries..which isnt hard.

Jobs suck! Stay home and mooch of your parents for as long as you can! I dont know what your scituation is but if your parents arent making you get this job then dont.......work sucks. What grade are you in? If you're in high school the last thing you want is a job. Your grades will get you into a good college not how much money you have.....and if it's just because you want some spending money........just do like i said before and empty your parents wallet! I remember when I was like 15 everyone including my self was like...."I've gotta get a job....". What for?! Your parents support you so screw it!! Thats just how I feel.

I think I'm the only person my age that doesn't work. I don't want to work yet, and I don't really have to because I don't spend a lot of money. My sister on the other hand, who is 3 years younger than me, spends money all the time and really wants to get a job. But she's too young so she can't really get a job anywhere.

I used my connections to get a job. Once i proved to them that i was responsible they gave me the job.
Talk to your parents and see if they have a job you could do or friends that need help. Ask around and see what people can offer you.

I don't have a job, cuz the only place around here that will hire people who are under 16 is Kroger, and only the dorks work there. (don't ask ) When I'm 16 though I wanna get a job at a clothing store. If you work at Hollister you don't get paid that much but you get a 40% discount.

I'd say go with the local grocery store, and if they let you be a cashier do that. I don't know how old you have to do that though.

Well I dont have a car and I'm not about to get one. I can use my mom's 99.9% of the time and when I go off to college I have to live on campus and theres no parking for freshman so the last thing I need is a car. Think about that......

I TOTALLY agree with DisJosh on BOTH of his posts!

1)DON'T work if you don't absolutely, positively, no way of getting out of it, have to get one. Speaking from much experience, you WILL miss your friends, stuff at school (ex:football games, meetings, etc.), and chances are if your getting paid minimum wage or close to it...it's not worth it!

2) What do you need a car for anyways? All your friends will have one, and so do your parents! Because yes having a car is cool....for about the first month, then you realize you don't have any money anymore becaue it's all going to get the oil changed, buying the stickers for it, gasing up EVERY WEEK, getting it washed...etc, etc.....

3) When you go off to College....live on Campus! I commute every other morning! And let me tell you...the school that is just a few miles away from you house...is really NOT as close as you think it is! LOL!

Okay, I'm done preaching. I just wanted to share some words of advice from mistakes I have made!
