I mostly work from home.

I used to work for Reptilia in Vaughan and mainly worked from home and on the road meeting clients. They paid $24K annually plus commission if you did really well. I was on a contract. They are really nice people. I was the Halton Program Coordinator, my duties were to book the animal education program in schools, etc.,. in Halton. I really like it, but it was my second job and having two jobs proved too much for me, so I picked to remain working in the school behind my house and give up Reptilia.

There are lots of places like Reptilia, places you can work from home and get on the road occasionally to meet clients. There is an Acting Troup in Toronto that books schools too....I can't recall the name, BIG 'something'. They are hiring now.

I also make alittle cash writing for magazines occasionally. Check out the writer's guidelines for the smaller 'up front' articles. For large maggies you get about $1.00 a word, small articles are around 200 words. Good way to get in the door.

I used to sell my arts and crafts on ebay and did very well. Just not a lots of time for that right now, but I'd like to start up again. I make a lot of jewelry and sell to friends and a Womyn's Festival I go to annually.

This is really off the wall for some folks, but I also read Tarot cards. I'm pretty good. Most of my readings are done long distance. I do the reading, write the report and accept pay pal.

If you do what you love, you will make money.

My priority is my family, my spiritual life, helping people and education so I stick as close to DOing that for my well BEing.
