Job Searching

I just moved to a new city and I'm searching for a job, I was wondering, for those of you who have been searching for a job recently, what resources do you use? I have been checking our local paper and monster.com as well as getting some leads from others. Just wondering what other folks have done when searching for employment.

Can I add, I hate job hunting.....probably as much as I hate moving!!

I am job hunting in a new town as well! I hate job hunting!

What I have been doing (and just started this week), is taking a look around at what companies are here and then going directly to their company website and looking at what they have posted as openings. Sometimes companies post there before going to outside sources. I have two interviews so far for next week. Of course, all the hurricanes here in Orlando are making a mess of everything. Including the search for a job.

Do you know anyone in your new town? You can never say enough about networking.
