Job Interview, Please Say a Prayer

I know this board has worked miracles for people, whether religious or not. All the positiveness is amazing. Thank you all for the support! I went in, I was upbeat, myself, and I did get asked back for a second interview. I knew you were all behind me with good thoughts and that helped a lot to keep upbeat. Given that I am a religious person, I would like to thank God for his blessings today as well.

BTW, I asked for some support from the boards not too long ago, and at first I didn't get the position they has posted......but...just yesterday I found out they were waiting because they needed an approval from HR to create a position for me within the dept I had posted for. So be patient...and good things will come. I know...easier said than done!

DH had been out of work since October. He just got a job last week and starts Thursday. He had interviewed for a different position in June with the same company and didn't get it. In August, someone else from the company called and and 2 weeks later he had a job. So even if you don't this position , they may keep you in mind.

Well, unfortunately, I was unable to secure the job. I had the skills and the personality they were looking for, but the hours which were 3:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Tues - Fri and then Saturday 9-1 p.m just didn't fit with raising my daughter and my husband's job schedule. He is always on call and although his day ends at 3:30 p.m., he can be called back to work at any moment. He works for the main suburban commuter rail line here in Chicago. So, if he were called back to work or held over at work, there would be a mad scramble for child care.

I thought of every possibility, but was unable to take the position. but I really need more of a 9-5 type job. I appreciate all of your good thoughts as it really did help because I read your responses before interviewing and was so encouraged by all the good wishes that I was hardly nervous throughout each interview.
