I am considering changing jobs and need some advice. Would you take a job with a new company if there were a chance you'd only be working another 1-2 years? The job could be more money and some great benefits. I'm torn, though, about taking a new job if I may only be there a year. What do you think?

if you think you might be there 2 years, definitely. a lot of people change jobs after 2 years. i would also take a job if i was only going to be there for a year, depending on the kind of job. if it was a job where they would have to invest in significant training, i probably wouldn't take it if i was only going to be there a year, but if it's a job that they wont have to really train you for, i'd probably take it.

Yep, that is what I was thinking.

Thanks. That's kind of how I felt...2 years, then I wouldn't feel too bad, but less than that I'm just not sure. There won't be an extensive amount of training. I already know their software and most of the basics of how the company works. I've sent my resume over, but this is still so nerve-wrecking!
