Gown steaming - Lori from Loftis Productions
http://loftisproductions.com/pricing.html
I am so happy I decided on hiring Lori to steam my gown!!
Like many brides on the boards, I initially looked into having Carolyn Allen do it for me and was happy with that. However, a couple of times in brides' reviews, I saw Lori mentioned and she too seemed highly recommended. I dropped her an e-mail and quickly discovered her to be a lovely person who always replied promptly to my queries. She was also less expensive than CA.
I schedualed Lori to come to steam my gown two days before our ceremony, and she arrived on time despite having issues gaining access to BLT (see above post). On arrival, she asked where I intended to store my dress after steaming. I had to admit that I hadn't given it much thought and Lori suggested I leave it hanging in the bedroom where ther was plenty of room and where she intended to steam it. Because I didn't want anybody to see my dress before the big day, Lori called Mousekeeping and had them bring up two king-size sheets to use to completely cover up my dress.
Lori is the sweetest person and did her job extremely efficiently and professionally. I can tell you that my dress needed a good steaming, as it had been in it's travel box since my bridal boutique had packed it in there some two months before!!!
Her price was $85.00 inclusive of travelling fee (very reasonable, I thought) and she steamed my daughters dress for free!! I even caught her steaming the veil on my bridal ears, which had been hanging on a hook in the bedroom!! When I told her that I wasn't intending on wearing them on the day, just around the parks later in the trip, she said that if I was going to wear them at all, they may as well look their best!!! Bless her!!
After steaming she completely covered my dress with the sheets so nobody could get a sneeky peak!!!
I highly recommend Lori - she was fantastic!!!
Hair and Make-up - Patricia LeJeune

I am afraid I do not (as yet) have a photo of Patricia, but I am sure most of you know by now what she looks like!! She is very pretty!!
Well, Patricia always gets rave reviews on the boards and she didn't disappoint!!!
Patricia and her husband Randy were always quick to answer e-mails during the planning process, and were very flexible about adding extra services in at the last minute!!
Patricia arrived on time (having had the dreaded access issues) along with her assistant Alex. She was booked to do my hair, make-up and eyelashes,DD's hair and eye-lashes (DD does her own make-up beautifully) and three other guests' hair.
Patricia is such fun and I don't believe we stopped laughing all the way through the session!!! We all really enjoyed it and the time just flew by!!
I gave Patricia very little direction on what I wanted, but she know exactly what would suit me and made absolutely sure I was happy with things throughout the whole process. It is no easy task making me look beautiful, but she achieved it!!! When I first looked in the mirror when I was all finished, I was teary eyed - I was so happy with what she had done!!! Patricia gave me a hug and told me to stop as she was tearful too!!
My hair and make-up lasted well all day and I felt comfortable and didn't worry about it at all.
I loved having the eyelashes and I am sure they will look lovely in Randy's photos. I had more natural looking eyelashes, but my daughter went for the more dramatic ones and they really suited her!!
Patricia and Randy Chapman have a good relationship and the banter between them was great to listen to!!
Patricia was so lovely and I am really glad I chose her for my hair and make-up services. Highly recommended
