Jingle Cruise

Does anyone know if the Magic Kingdom is doing the over-lay of the Jungle Cruise this holiday season?

Yes. Should be up and running sometime in Nov.

Edit : OK, so I answered like it was fact, when in fact it hasn't been specifically announced that I can see. It is presumed to still be an overlay but Disney does not have it stated anywhere right now for 2018 that I can find. What I do see is :

Since they only list 5 rides that are open on that same page and not "dozens" as they state it's not complete. But the red/bold should be a reference to Jingle Cruise

I’m glad to see they’ve added a bit more holiday theming to Jingle Cruise. In 2013 it was exactly one holiday necklace added to Trader Sam.

Oh they are really into it now! I think it is so much fun!

I've looked and have not seen them announce it for WDW yet. As popular as it has been, I can't imagine them not doing it again this year. Usually starts the first week of November. Love the new bad jokes.

I went in 2013. It was a bit more than that....
Example the boats were named things that had to do with Christmas.
There was Christmas music playing.
There was Christmas lights in line.
Its been so long I can't recall everything on the boat tour but I'm sure it was more than the necklace on Trader Sam....

There are wrapped presents and decorations throughout the ride as well. Including the over run camp and the Temple Ruins. If I remember some of the animals were also wearing ugly christmas sweaters.
