Jimmy Buffett....who scored tickets??

I wouldn't care if Jimmy was 163, he's still worth seeing. However, I don't think that I'd pay $251 to see anyone. Wow!

Yes, that price is quite steep. DH, DSs 15 and 17, and I saw him last summer in Philadelphia. We paid $88 a ticket and originally had first tier/level seats. We got a "complimentary upgrade" to wonderful seats on the floor. I have no idea how much they would have been there. I was a great concert though and I would just love to go again.

Three of us logged on at 10am for Pittsburgh tickets with 3 disappointments and by 10:07 tickets were sold out.

DH and I gave up trying a few years ago. Tickets for his MA shows are so hard to come by--not to mention so darn expensive! We have managed to see him twice though, in our younger days.

Our yearly ritual instead is to have a party/bonfire in our backyard and listen to the show live on Radio Margaritaville. Not quite the same, but it is better than nothing.

:sad2: Not me!

Have been several times in the past, but the last few years the tickets are extremely hard to get and pricey!!

Plus, with only one show, it makes the tickets a lot more valuable. I remember the days when he'd come into town (Cincinnati) for 3 shows, one year I think even 5 shows. Those were the days. :goodvibes

We can actually, on a clear night, hear some of the music from our front porch, because the river is lower in a valley, and the music from the concert venue drifts right up to us.

But, anyone have Riverben tickets they are trying to get rid of?? Or, a boat, and need a few extra partiers on the river that night? :teeth:
