Jim Shore Sorcerer Mickey..HELP

Ok...So, I have a little dilema...I have the Jim Shore sorcerer mickey musical wind up statue...You wind the music box, and the brooms inside his coat circle around. Well, it appears that there is supposed to be a light above the brooms....ARRGH...Just got off the phone with Disney Shopping..they are trying to say that it can be lit up if I shine a light in it!!! Unreal...Anyways, anyone have one, and does it light up, and HOW do you make it light up? Thanks

We do not have the Sorcerer Mickey but have the Blue Fairy Dreams Come True Jim Shore that is like it (plays music and inside has a spinning scene from Pinocchio. Ours has a light. It is a plastic piece already in the top (above the spinning scene) and it has a switch on the plastic plate to turn it on and put in a battery. It may be that yours is missing that light plate?

I can't remember if it came separately in the box and we had to pop it in place, so maybe check the box too just to be on the safe side.

So, I emailed Disneyshopping to basically complain about the customer service rep who said I had to shine a flashlight inside to make it light up. Well the CS lady called and said that was nuts, and that even though we bought it in September, she is going to send me a brand new one, and then just ship back the defective one when UPS comes to get it!! Thanks to Ivory, the GREAT CM who helped us!

So glad to hear that since I was really shocked at the response about the flashlight. Just not typical Disney customer service.

Send pictures of the new one once you get it. I cannot recall seeing this one in the stores and would love to see what it looks like!

If you go to their site, and look, you will see it...Its a featured reward....

And, I was shocked too...Must have been having a Universal Day
