We will be going in late september and I only have room in our schedule for two of the three. The Cast includes myself, DW, DD5 and DD3

We are not very adventerous eaters, but the wood fired filet of Mac and Cheese at Jiko sounds and looks so good. Plus we would get to tour AKL.

The skewers of meat sound good and DW will enjoy the salad. We were disapointed that the potatoes were removed from the menu. We are not very excited about the desert either. We would go to Ohana on a MNSSHP night so we may watch Hallowishes from the Poly beach. Dose Disney pipe in the music for the hard ticket event fireworks?

Le Ceilier, usually get high marks and several menu choices we would like. This may be a no brainer selection especially considering we will be touring World showcase one night anyway.

Ohana might be more fun for the kids but the other two have consistently better food, or so I've heard. I have only been to Ohana but it was years ago. Went to Jiko the last time we were there and the food was great. The third I am only going be hearsay.

I just found out that Jiko is a Signature Dinning Meal. It has been removed from my list.

Ohana + Le Ceilier > Jiko

I'd still go Jiko - its food is that much better than the other two and you'd get to tour AKL.

I agree. Jiko is so worth 2 credits. The Filet with the macaroni and cheese is to die for! I was not impressed with Le Cellier, it was good, but certainly not great. Plus AKL is a great resort to tour. Lots to do before and after dinner.

I am having sort of the same dilema so maybe I can help you.

I have never been to Ohana for dinner but I think we are going to try it this trip. We can't decide between O'Hana and Whispering Canyon.

I have been to Jiko and thought the food was very good. I had the filet w/mac n cheese and did NOT like the mac n cheese. I am a kraft girl
The filet was very good however. My mom had the chicken and I tried it and it was very good. We are going back to Jiko this time again since we thought it was the best restaurant we went to in wdw. :thumbsup2

We also ate at Le cellerie (sp) but did not like it. I guess I was expecting better. I was so looking forward to it too. :confused3

We are from Chicago and have some of the best restaurants in the country so it's hard for us to judge.

No comparison, IMO. Jiko is true fine dining exp, the other two don't come close. If you're a steak eater, you'll find the Jiko filet to be much better than the LeCellier cut.

'Ohana is more about excess than quality I think. We enjoyed our meal there but it wasn't about a great cut of meat but more about the lively atmosphere with family.

We had a very disappointing LeCellier exp, but that was mainly due to service. Their food was good for a steak and ale range of quality.

I vote for Ohana's! I NEVER thought that I would like the food, but it's great!! I don't normally like bread pudding, but ate every last bite at Ohana's!

I agree on LeCellier. I think it is a higher end restaurant for a park restaurant, but it does not compare to Jiko. I have not yet tried Ohanas, but there is no chance it is as good as Jiko. And yes, the mac & cheese is not Krafts - it is so much better than boxed mac and cheese though!! You just have to open yourself up to really good mac and cheese! However, if you do want to sub out the side dishes, you can do so there with no problem. My mother in law wanted the mac and cheese with her pork dish and they didnt miss a beat with the substitution, so feel free to customize away there. I cannot wait to go back this summer!!!

There's no comparision between the Jiko experience and Ohana...and forget LeCellier:confused3

Ohana is okay. Not great food--interesting concept--nice salad, dessert. The ambiance is rather loud thanks to the screeching female entertainer. If you like hunks o' meat for dinner. This would work for you. Especially if you have earplugs.

LeCellier is like eating in a basement (yes I know--hence the name LeCellier);) Our experience there was less than stellar--close tables, long wait for table (WITH an adr) really lousy service and so-so food.

Jiko,on the other hand, has great atmosphere, great food and service unparalled.
