Jiko v California grill - (food only)

Which one for the best food ?

So far Jiko is winning and I sort of expected this I am not concerned with location, setting view of fireworks etc. Just in it for some outstanding food. Whilst Jiko looks better for entrees and appetizers California Grill s desserts look more appealing.

Jiko was wonderful in June 2005, had the filet- melt in your mouth. Also the olive flatbread for app. great And dessert- pistachio creme brulee.

California Grill in Aug 2005- food ok. Did not like sushi, but saw others devouring it. I'm a cajun girl from Louisiana!! No thank you on the sushi but I did try it! Had steak here too- it was good.


Definately perfer JIKO!!

In my opinion Jiko not only has better food but a better menu as well

Two totally different food experiences. Both have their high points. Jiko only edges CG out for me because I've only been there once and have been to CG several times.
