I booked us at Tusker House for breakfast one morning.

I'm thinking about an additional African place. Do you have a preference between these two? I've never been to either. Been to Boma and love it there.

Jiko is one of my favorites. I did eat at Sanaa in Feb... I did not care for it

I love both Jiko and Sanaa.

I like the ambience at Sanaa best. It's elegant, and the animals are at the window, right in front of your table. We were lucky enough to dine there when a 3:00 storm was moving through the area, and the animals put on a show for us. The storm must have had them on high alert, because they were up to all sorts of antics.

I felt the food was good at both places. Sanaa seemed more adventurous and the flavors seemed more exotic to me. Jiko is just simply delicious. I may give Jiko the slight edge. Both restaurants are outstanding, in my opinion.

Sanaa is a place where I would want to go and sample everything on the menu, whereas, Jiko is a place where I would order something and it is so good that I would not want to share!

Is there anyway that you can do both?

Jiko is my favorite WDW restaurant. I think that the menu is wonderful, the staff are very professional, and the restaurant itself is beautifully decorated with very few bad tables in the house. That said, Sanaa is very good too. You will very likely enjoy either.

I have to say, the food at Sanaa is very tame and Americanized. I love Indian food and was disappointed.

Jiko is also Americanized, but overall the menu is on a different level in terms of creativity and quality. I think Jiko is more interesting and worth it than Sanaa.

You guys are wonderful! Thanks so much.

I ended up booking at Sanaa mostly because of the Savannah view. Menus at both sound great. We're also doing a breakfast at Tusker House so I think 3 African inspired meals would be too much. Decided to try Jiko next trip.

Hard to give up Boma though! It's tried and true. We love it. Gotta branch out.
