We will be going back to Disney in December. I am picking a restaurant for Christmas dinner and Jiko has always been a favorite of my husband and I. We have not been there for a few years. I was looking at the menu and I saw lots my husband would love. I do not eat beef or pork and I saw this item

Aleecha, Shimbra Asa, Inguday Tibs - and Goat Cheese Cream, Ethiopian Vegetable "Stack", Chickpea Cake, and Spiced Mushroom-spinach Roll $26.00

Has anyone tried this? Did you like it? Thanks so much for the help.

Sorry, I have not tried that dish. However, it is a seasonal vegetarian offering, so be warned that they may not have it when you go. The vegetarian entree changes.

I would expect it to be stellar though. I tried a Seared Maize Pudding once at Jiko and it was amazing!

My DH tried it the last time we were there. He loved it; I had a taste and I thought it was wonderful, too. Neither of us are vegetarians and we both eat beef and pork. And he's a total foodie (and a darned good cook in his own right!). It totally satisfied him.

I'd order it again if we have the chance.

Thanks so much for the information. It sounded quite interesting and I love the different tastes and flavors of Jiko!

I tried it when we were there in March and it was fantastic! I do eat beef, pork and pretty much anything, but I do enjoy vegetarian dishes too and Jiko always has done them very nicely.
