So...I've eaten at Jiko three times now, and it's always been excellent.

My mom and I are staying at AKL for one night this coming April, before meeting up with the rest of the family at the BC.

I can't decide -- stick with Jiko for our dinner, or try Sanaa for something new?

Thanks in advance for your opinions!

Sanaa!!! I think you'll be pleasantly surprised. My meal was actually better at Sanaa than Jiko my last trip, although I do enjoy them both.

They are such different experiences. Jiko, being a signature restaurant, is definitely much more upscale, the food is fancier (in presentation) and it is, of course, significantly more expensive. The food preparation is so meticulous too, as it should be. Sanaa's food is really tasty but you won't see those "artistic" plates. Just more casual all around, if any of that matters to you. Both have really good food, at least for my family.

I would try something new and give Sanaa a whirl!

I LOVE both Jiko and Sanaa, but there are different. You can't really compare them.

I love Jiko (it's my favorite restaurant in all of WDW), but I also like Sanaa very much as well. If you have done Jiko before and not been to Sanaa, I'd give Sanaa a try!

I ate at both last October and had a very disappointing meal at Jiko, food & service.

Sanaa on the other hand was really good and the service excellent. My vote is Sanaa :)

I agree totally. We ate at both last October and Sanaa was incredible!

sanaa is delicious and so is jiko, but they're totally different experiences. i would definitely give sanaa a try. i've been twice now (once for lunch and once for dinner). i really enjoy the bread service - it's delicious!

Been to Sanaa, never to Jiko (yet). I actually went to Sanaa with two picky "steak & potato" type eaters... We all ordered the "combo" dinner that gives you a couple of choices, don't remember the name.

The picky eaters got the short ribs & shrimp, & I had the short ribs & chicken. everybody loved the food! The tomato soup I had as an appetizer was also great.

Sanaa was a great experience.

Thanks for the advice, everybody! You've convinced me to give Sanaa a try!
