Jiko or California Grill

Ok i'm always the one who sits back and asks why people ask others to make up their mind on where to eat ! but I find myself going back and forth on which to pick so thought I would post a poll ! I would also love to know what your favorite dish is !

Both menus sound great ! it's only going to be my husband and I dining

You've pitted my favorite Disney restaurant against my second favorite. I give the slight edge to Jiko.

If you take into account that you are able to watch Wishes during dinner.. well, it isn't even close.

Two good choices. Jiko tends to be a little more 'romantic' IMHO (fewer kids )

I couldn't pick so we are doing both! But if I had to pick one I would give the edge to Jiko.

Jiko is one of my favorite signatures, especially from a food standpoint. The dishes have some adventurous spices and flavors, and some of them are authentic and upscale at the same time. From a food standpoint, California Grill is my least favorite. We had some disappointing entrees (veal and halibut) and bad desserts (especially the strawberry-rhubarb cobbler) on our last meal there (about 2 weeks ago)

Other reasons why Jiko is a better choice: the atmosphere is quieter, more adult, and more conducive to a date night, IMO. California Grill is loud and I could barely hear the person across from me speaking.

I have dined at each at least a half dozen times. Sometimes CG is better and sometimes Jiko. To me the deciding factor would be sushi. If you are not eating sushi, go to Jiko for a much quieter dining experience.

I love the Cali Grill, the steaks, suhsi and the view are amazing. We had terrible food at Jiko this past May and the server was very rude.

If you are going for the food, then Jiko. If you just want a place to watch fireworks from, then CG.
