Jiko - Filet

I know this was taken off the menu years ago, but does anyone know if it is still possible to request the filet with mac and cheese at Jiko?

I miss this dish!

REALLY??? Well I just might consider heading back there real soon, if only they'd make that amazing cucumber, tomato and watermelon salad too...I'd be there in a heartbeat (but LOVE that mac n cheese with the filet!)

Absolutely Last month they let everyone at our table no problem at all you just have to ask for the "Filet with Mac and Cheese the old way" and they will know exactly what you are talking about

Have you had the filet with the current accompaniments? You would probably be pleasantly surprised if you took the meal the way the chef intends it to be had. They didn't change the sides just to disappoint people; the new sides are better complements. I always thought the star of that dish was the red wine reduction anyway, not the pasta.

No, but my husband and I plan on both ordering it! One the old way and one the new way! You're right, I'm sure any change would be an improvement... I just love mac and cheese!
