JIKO dress code

Disney cares enough to post a dress code (not just “don’t stink”). From my experience with signature restaurants, most people comply. But it is true that you’ll be allowed in without respecting the dress code - if that’s your thing.

And if it is your thing enjoy every bite! Luckily there is no fashion police at the restaurants. And as the night goes on you will see more and more people dressed for dinner.

You almost have to be trying to be inappropriately dressed at any WDW restaurant. No matter how casual you are there will always someone worse.

That being said I prefer to clean up a little bit before going to any decent restaurant.

No dress code that is enforced at all. Wear what you want. Park attire or dress up. No one will care. You aren't there to please anyone. Have fun and enjoy your vacation.

I echo other suggestions to pack a fresh shirt in your park bag like a polo shirt or blouse. I've gone straight from AK when it was hotter than the sun and arrived at Jiko much the worse for wear in the ladies polo shirt I had worn all day. Sometimes no amount of freshening up in the ladies room can substitute for a clean, dry shirt. I fold and roll the shirt as tight as possible and use a few elastics to keep it as small as possible for the park bag. Makes a big difference in how you feel for your splurge dinner.
