Jiffy t-shirt sizes?

How close to size are these t-shirts? I am afraid that I am going to buy the sizes that we normally wear and that they might be too small. But, my dd hates clothes that are too big.

to be honest it depends on the brand of shirt you pick.

I try to gauge the size by the comments

I just bought a BUNCH(75) of these last week, the mens and womans sizes seem to be pretty true to size, I bought the brand gilden as they had pretty good reviews, and I liked that they had a womens shirt that was a little more stylish than a normal t-shirt. The childrens Rabbit skin brand shirt runs VERY small I would buy at least one size bigger than your child normally wears, my two year old wears a 2t or 3t(which are a little big) and so I bought 3t, I wish I would have bought at least a 4t.
