I do not know about the rest of the country, but our schools closed for the jewish holidays. Are the parks and hotels more crowded or just another day at Disney? :sunny: :sunny: :sunny: :sunny: :sunny: :sunny:
It's cooler in Disney than New Jersey right now!

Our school system is also off for the High Holidays. Last year they fell around Columbus Day which was a huge opportunity for us (we flew down on Rosh Hashana and back on Yom Kippur). It was no more or less crowded than usual around Columbus Day, in our opinions. Perhaps the non-Jews taking advantage of the extra days off in their districts are offset by their Jewish neighbors who need those days off for religious observance. But for our Goyische family, it was a nice little vacation.
