Which of these do you like best and why? I'd like to get a ring with sapphires & pearls and like both of these.

Ring with white gold

Ring with yellow gold

I personally like the white gold ring. I happen to like the style of it better than the other one (personally) and I really think sapphires look better in white gold (IMHO) Truthfully though I just like the white gold ring more for the style than anything though.

Thanks, I have almost no jewelry just dont' wear it but would like something like these because it has mine & both of my DD's birthstones in them.

Just really not to sure of what to even look for other than that I like them.

I only like yellow gold!

My engagement ring has one oval sapphire surrounded with diamonds and I think it looks lovely but I think it's all down to personal choice and what suits your finger. You just know once you try it on!

First of all, both are beautiful. You have very nice taste. My preference would be the white gold. It looks formal and has a distinctive flair. The yellow gold ring looks beautifully designed, however looks more like a cocktail ring. What is the ocassion? Everyday, once a year? Which finger will you wear it on? Is it an engagement ring?

I couldn't decide and this poll wasn't much help since it was split.

I did what every girl should and bought both

I'd like something I can wear instead of my wedding band which i've misplaced. I don't have an engagement ring, only a couple of rings my MIL gave me.

I'll have to see which one I like best and if one is more than I'm comfortable with I can always give it to MIL, she loves jewerly of all kinds and these would appeal to her for the same reasons I was looking at them. My girls are her only grandchildren and she has several pieces of Pearl & Sapphire jewelry for them but she keeps it for now.

WOW!! You dropped some change winning those auctions but truthfully, personally, I'd have the 1st picture's setting set in yellow gold. I like the smaller setting but, I prefer the gold. Both nice rings, though! Very Nice!

I love white gold, it looks better with my complexion. I think yellow gold looks better on olive skin, white gold on fair complexion.

Those are both beautiful rings. I hope you enjoy them both. I particularly love the first one. I'm always partial to white gold (all of my gold jewelry is white gold, including my wedding band), and I just love that setting. I have a ring almost just like it, but there are diamonds instead of saphires.
